This is awesome for taking soups or hot oatmeal to work. I've even used it hiking. It's a bit heavy for that, but the seal makes it worth it. Doesn't leak. This thing can take a fall down a hiking trail with no problem, and my ramen was still good and stayed inside.

This does a phenomenal job keeping my oats hot, in fact too hot if I'm not careful. Huge improvement over my cheaper Thermos jar. Highly recommend. Just be careful when you pull it out of your bag, the surface is very smooth and easy to drop.

It's a good product however it's made in Thailand instead of Japan. But it's still good and perfect size for single cup of soup.
