I finally landed with this one, after going through a handful of transition pieces of different colors and materials. I got the Matte Silver 35.4in x 1.6in. Quality: I love the matte silver, it looks modern, looks scratch resistant (not too shiny either). It's sturdy unlike other weak metals or stick on LVP that just looks flappy. Installation: It was a breeze. I installed this between my hardwood floor and light grey LVP floor. I used a gorilla glue for its adhesion to the floor and put some heavy objects on top for a few hours. For a longer area, I connected 2 pieces which I had to use a saw to cut it to size. I recommend it if you looking for a bit more of work than a stick on LPV transition piece for a more modern, clean look and longer lasting (sturdy) material. I've used them throughout my home.

Work great for same level floor (LVT) Just did a flooring job and wanted the rooms to have a separation in flooring - came out great KEEP IN MIND - it does not come with and adhesive - I had to go get double sided tape at the hardware store ( could had used liquid nails as well )

I wanted to have a transition to the steps that was easy for me to install but was durable and the color was black. I love black. It had to be look great but be functional and had to have adhesion that would not come up. This strip had all that i wanted! I had to cut for size and I had enough to do the entry into the house too. It was so much better than those rubber strips. I like to be different and this was more Contemporary. That I liked.

These transition strips are pretty easy to work with. They are best cut by hand or with a bandsaw (preferred). Although they are designed for even floor transition, I managed to make them work with a slight variation in the elevation of the two floors. They are attractive compared to other choices I found and match a variety of colors and styles.

I used this transition strip between two very similarly colored tile floors, and it blended perfectly. Installation was easy, and it looks great. The only thing I wish I had done differently is get a slightly wider strip — this one barely covered the gap. Still, a solid, functional, and attractive solution for floor transitions.

used this to cover our transition from floor to tile. I ended up gluing it down, but it has held up well over the last year and will be using it in the future if I need it again.

The metal is very thin and bends very easily. Make sure it is glued down very tightly or it will show bends and dents.
