Puts me in the game
As a beginner in the Pickleball sport, I have found these paddles to be quite satisfactory and much preferred over wooden ones. I can't begin to guess what shortcuts were made to make this racquet cost much less than the rest of the Selkirk line, because all the components are good quality. It is possible the rubber grip was a concession to lower cost. It is one-piece plastic material molded to appear as it were wrapped. It isn't as sticky as others I have tried, but I don't have any complaints about it.

Great off-brand product
Impress your guests with more than stock wood paddles. Great for the price. I use the balls outdoors and they are fine.

Worth The Cost.
These paddles play quite well. Purchased 20 of them to be donated to park district pickleball programs. They replaced wooded paddles being used. Everyone likes using these over the wood paddles.

Great value!
My husband and I are new to pickle ball. This paddle was recommended by an experienced player as a good beginner's paddle. We're having fun and use the balls to practice our serves.

Fine paddle for me and my wife
My wife and I are new to pickleball. Since we are both over 65, I wanted to get us a good starter paddle without spending a fortune because we were not sure how much we will get to play. There are no courts near us so we must travel a ways to play. Don't know much about selecting paddles but Selkirk seems to make a number of higher priced paddles that have good user ratings, so decided to go with these. The paddle weight is 7.1 to 7.3 ounces, width is 7.875 in, height is 15.67 in, grip circumference is 4.125. They are a Polymer PowerCore Honeycomb paddle. We have used them once and they seem to be fine for us.

Not USAPA Certified so not allowed on all pickleball courts
Not USAPA certified so there are many pickleball courts where these paddles are actually illegal or in the case of my city...you will be fined for using them! This information should definitely be in the description. I returned and got the Selkirk Neo set which are certified.
