Works great as a skimmer. The mesh is great to let the liquid out and keep everything else in. Handle holds up well. Very sturdy so far.

I've been using this strainer for months for my kefir grains. It works perfectly! Of course, you have to push the grains around a little bit to pass the kefir through, but it's the same with any strainer. It's very easy to use with its long handle and is sturdy. It fits over a cup or jar nicely with the extra hook on the opposite end of the handle. It's super easy to clean too. I use it almost every day. It's perfect for the price and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Not much else to say about it - it's just great.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This strainer appears a bit larger than it actually is. It doesn’t hold much at all, but would be nice for making some cocktails or dusting something like powdered sugar. Excellent quality.

The quality of steel mesh and the grip are great.. seem durable and sturdy. No intricate corners ..so easy cleaning. The size feels little bigger for filtering tea in to a standard glass or cup. Recomended for quality and usability.
