Q: Does this put out warm or cool air?

The air that comes from it is cool and not very much air is released from it.

Q: I can’t pull the tray out idk if there’s a release button but it’s stuck and I’ve had it for 2 days and can’t change it

I just looked at mine. I have emptied mine at least 3 three times. No there is no release, just pull out the tank . There is a slot for your fingers pull strait its a little snug. Check to see if the lid to the tank is on properly. It could be it's not seated on the tank.

Q: Can I connect a hose so I don't have to dump bucket? (For use in crawl space)

No, not with this particular machine.
