NOW Foods Foods Inositol 500mg,100 Capsules (Pack of 3)

My brother's doctor recommended this supplement and he passed the info on to me. I started taking Inositol some time ago and noticed a difference almost immediately. But so many other people noticed a difference in me too. I felt much more 'even,' more positive, and slept better. At some point I stopped taking them for some unknown reason...I wish I hadn't. I just received this order (my fifth) and happy to have this supplement in my arsenal again!

Let me start with my usual comment about the Now product line: You will see many reviews from me concerning Now Foods vitamins and minerals. I have come to completely trust this company in their production of a pure and safe product. I know if it comes from Now Foods that I will not have to worry about a contaminated product, or a product that is not the strength stated on the label. I have been reading a book, also found here, by Dr. Alicia Stanton by the name of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Hormone Weight Loss. (I could of done without the name, but read it anyway as it has a huge amount of answers that you too might of been hunting for as well.) She mentioned something that my doctors had started to mention and I finally had a full and complete description of Metabolic Syndrome. Because of many changes my body has gone through, let alone menopause, I was unaware of the need for Inositol so needless to say, I was not taking this in any vitamin or mineral mix. Now that I have started taking this I have noticed a change in just under a weeks time! Buy the book, or not but at the very least Google Metabolic Syndrome and see if this fits your issues as well. (I am sorry if I seem to be side stepping giving firm results, but I am not a doctor and more importantly, I am not YOUR doctor so I do not feel comfortable suggesting that you try any mineral or vitamin and not know your medical issues. That is why many of my reviews for Now products are the very first couple of sentences.)

A GNC worker recommended I add Inositol and Niacamede to my regimen when I purchased GABA. I have a history of panic attacks, both cued and uncued. GABA helped a bit, but I still had the lingering fears of having a panic attack and felt an urge to avoid those situations where I knew I'd be likely to have one (such as driving or traveling long distances.) The results are really great. Currently, I take all three pills twice a day, and I am fairly calm and relaxed. I haven't noticed any adverse side effects, and I've been taking the combination for around a month. While I can occasionally skip without noticing any major changes, if I take an entire day off from the supplements, I can certainly feel my anxiety returning. If you experience a lot of worry and stress, it's certainly worth a shot. Keeps me from having to use prescription pills :)

This product was suggested by a pediatrician because I am diabetic and it supposed to improve nerve and tissue health in the feet. It is difficult to determine its effectiveness, but it may be a prophylaxis . Bette to err on the right side.

I have been using Inositol due to my findings after much research. Since I started taking these, I feel more calm and collective and also get more restful sleep at night. I take these pill once in the morning and once in the evening. Good also if you are overweight or have diabetes as well. I did not find any side effects from taking these pills. I received this product on time, and the price of $6 per bottle is nice as well.
