Do these have extra material for more knuckle protection

i dont know what do you mean by more material. but i can tell this are as good as a name brand quality with a double strap around your foot for better protection. highly recomnended them.

I wear a 7 1/2 shoe... my foot is somewhat petite not narrow not why should I stick with a medium? Size 8 shoes are too big on me.
