I stopped taking my vitamins and started taking Shilajit! What a change! Energy naturally, nutrition that we no longer get from our food, unless we grow it ourselves. I like it!

This is my third bottle of shilajit, as well as the third brand to try. At first glance, this seems to be higher end...I surmise this by its packaging and the addition of a golden metal spoon instead of a few wooded sticks. There is a data sheet included telling you where/when/what. The product itself is a lot different from the past two brands. It is runny instead of tar-like. It tastes a million times worse that other shilajit. My husband refuses to take it for this reason. Now, I don't know what is good and what isn't. I've only had 3 jars/3 brands. The first two were tar like with an almost black licorice aftertaste. This one is...well, I don't really know how to describe it. It tastes the way cow manure smells. Or what the bottom of the compost bin smells like. No matter how good this brand may be, if I can't get my husband to take it then it does no good. I choke it down because I'm not wasting it.

If you have purchased this product and found you're having a difficult time consuming it, add honey, I promise it will change the experience for you! As far as Shilajit living up to its claims, I believe I have seen improvements in my overall health. This isn't a magic potion, BUT, my skin, hair, nails, are healthier, my mind is clearer, and I feel more physically motivated, something I struggle with particularly in the winter months and I think it improves my digestion and gut health. It hasn't had any negative side effects so far. I do take breaks from consuming. I will drink it every morning for a few weeks and then take a few weeks off and restart the process. I have been taking this in addition to my prescription medications for ADHD and anxiety/depression as well as Freshcap.'s Ultimate Mushroom Complex, and L-Tyrosine. I wanted to have a more well-rounded and consistent nutrient diet with a focus on brain health and dopamine production (something us ADHDers don't do very well) and I think all of these things together have certainly contributed to my overall wellness.

I've been using shilajit for years. (You don't take it constantly, it's best to cycle on and off). I bought this product in October when my usual brand was unavailable, and I did not try it until this week. This is clearly cut with something oily and disgusting, probably mineral oil. It is not a proper resin. It's important to know that shilajit is always an acquired taste. A good quality shilajit has a strong, smoky resin taste that is something like very thick smoked fermented tea. It's enjoyable when you are accustomed to it. This however tastes rancid, and is a liquid that slides right off the ridiculous fancy scoop that's included. The taste is truly awful, and because it is an oil and not a resin, it is almost impossible to get the taste out of your mouth afterward. I will never waste money on this brand again, I will always wait for a trusted seller to stock mine. If you have tried this brand and think that you do not like shilajit or that it does not work for you, I suggest trying again with a reputable seller. This brand comes in obnoxious unnecessarily fancy packaging with lots of "guarantees" printed on it, but anyone who is actually familiar with shilajit will be wildly disappointed. From the good reviews I imagine there must be someone selling this brand who actually sells proper shilajit, but this is where I purchased it, and you do NOT want to buy yours here. If I had opened it sooner I would have returned it, but now all I can do is order from a reliable source instead and throw this bottle away. I do not recommend this item to others. Please buy it somewhere else.

I was "commercialed" while watching a YouTube video about a Shilajit Gummy product and was considering purchasing it. Before doing that, I decided to use AI to research Shilajit and wow, what a eye opening event that was. It guided me to Better Alt Pure Himalayan Shilajit under the recommendation of keeping a watch on the metal content of Shilajit and Certification of the product. It warned about the taste. Short version, do not use a metal anything with this product, do not mix with coffee/tea as the flavelnoid takes away the absorption benefits, start with a small amount "grain of rice" and work your way up to the "pea" size portion. I use a wooden chop stick in a glass cup. Benefits, I don't need coffee, no jitters at all. The packaging assures the product is stored in good condition while in use. It comes with Certification that you can actually research that it is real! Do not use before bed, give yourself about 7 to 8 hours before going to bed. I use distilled water heated and a little honey. However strange, I LIKE THE TASTE even without the honey. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT if you are having issues staying awake around 2 pm.

First time using product for me, taste is strong but it is worth the benefits. I have had more energy and been able to train more with added energy and recovery. I have also sleep deeper and with a better quality sleep, training has gone up at least 50%, very happy with product.
