I found the garden loppers to be robust, easy to use and sharp - and the red colour makes them easy to spot if you put them down in the undergrowth. I managed to cut branches up to around 40mm diameter without too much problem - and above that I'd use a saw. The loppers feel robust without bring too heavy. They're also sharp so you can cut through quite large branches without too much effort. I am pleased with my purchase I also found them good value and they werd delivered quickly

Very strong and do a great job . They cut though bamboo canes very easily, they were equally as good at cutting down conifers to lower height. Excellent quality and very easy to use .

Good loppers, but does not really cut 5cm branches with ease any more than other decent loppers of these dimensions that I have used. How thick will depend very much on the type of wood and its condition/age. I would say 3cm with ease, and 4cm+ with some effort if the wood is fairly hard. On the plus side it looks and feels solidly made, does a good job, and I expect it to last longer than my last ones, which deformed under the strain of cutting larger branches, eventually becoming unuseable. Another plus point is they are constructed with bolts and not cheaply with rivets, so it would theoretically be easy to replace the parts. Four-and-a-half stars would be my opinion of these, I do like them.

These are excellent loppers and they feel strong and robust. They cut through appropriate sized branches with ease. I'm gonna definitely buy a second pair.

I bought these loppers to replace an old pair that are absolutely useless. The old set have a scissor cutting action and the blades move apart when they cut trapping the wood between them and getting stuck in the process. These Tabor loppers have an anvil action. This means that the cutting blade is forced onto a flat surface to cut the branch and there is no scissor action. I explain this a little better in the video. The Tabor loppers are really good to use. They cut cleanly, feel solid and will deal with reasonably thick branches easily. I think that the manufacturer's claim of cutting 5cm green wood and 4cm dry hard wood are a little optimistic. I reckon you could manage 4cm green and 3cm dry which is still pretty impressive. Even so these loppers are very capable and will deal with thin stuff just as well as the thicker stuff. The extra length in the handles means a little more leverage for thicker branches. I found myself picking them up way more than I did my old ones and they did not let me down at all. These put a smile on my face several times this morning during a heavy gardening session. I am glad that I decided to spend a little more money for a professional pair.

Very tough & sturdy. Cuts branches upto 5/6 inches in diameter with ease. These are heavy & seem heavier when stretching to cut high branches. Very sharp cutting blade, makes a clean cut every time. Well made good price. These are not adjustable.

Tal y como se indica en otras opiniones, su facilidad de corte, es excelente (ramas verdes de morera, entre 40 y 50 mm). Pero como que no hay rosas sin espinas, el punto negativo, puede ser su peso. Yo prefiero que la tijera sea con yunque, porque si te excedes con el grueso de las ramas, las de dos hojas de corte, pueden desplazarse, y el corte requiere mayor esfuerzo.

Cet outil est efficace et robuste, il remplit parfaitement son rôle, comme le montre la vidéo anglaise. L'outil a été réalisé à Taïwan et en Israël. J'ignore qui a fait quoi (conception, travail de forge, montage), mais je suis prêt a acheter d'autres outils de la firme Tabor Tools, tant celui'ci me donne satisfaction, alors que les précédents (d'une autre marque) se sont disloqués ou que les lames se sont cassées. Je suis donc pleinement satisfait.
