This is a brilliant kit, the hood looks like new. I had to work hard to get the second coat of the waterproof to take as the first coat had done so well! Just take your time, follow the instructions fully and you will get brilliant results. The 500ml kit is more than enough to do a Boxster..

I'll leave it at a 3 star for now. That may improve should I be able to produce a decent result. I cleaned the top several times, including twice with the included cleaning solution. Incidentally it smells suspiciously like washing up liquid. After doing that I set about reviving the colour with the bottle of black. DO NOT START UNLESS YOU HAVE ENOUGH TO FINISH it says on the bottle. 1 bottle should cover 2 normal soft tops it says. Great, even with a Beetle I should get at least 1 coat. Nope. Not sure if it was how absorbent the top was or just its size being too large, but 1 500ml bottle covered about 2/3 of the roof. Now I have to wait for another one to arrive and hope to hell that it doesn't look crap when it is applied to the sections I couldn't finish. It goes on fine and perhaps with a top that isn't now 18 years old it wouldn't have drunk it quite so readily. Just be warned! Once its done and I've got the waterproofer on (just ordered an additional 1l bottle of that just in case) I'll update my review.

I have a 2011 Mini that had a stained soft top. I had previously used the Renovo cleaner on its own. It had made a massive difference but could not totally remove the stains. That was about 2 years ago. This time I opted for the full three stage kit. I again cleaned with the Renovo cleaner. Again it did a very good job but there was still shadows of the marks. It was the colour restorer that did the job. After applying this the roof was back to new!! I couldn't believe it. Well, actually I could as I was hoping that the restorer would cover the remains of old marks, but at the same time I was slightly doubtful. Anyway, it did the job. I recommend it to anyone. The only problem is that one 500ml bottle just covered my Mini. Anything bigger and it wouldn't be enough. I also used the water proofer. Again, it was just enough for the mini. Each stage is very easy to follow. I didn't mask the car off or anything and didn't suffer hardly any runs onto the paintwork. It really is easy. Overall I am very happy with the kit. It was kind of expensive but to totally restore the soft top to new it is well worth it.
