scroll wheel, is this mouse plagued with the cheap plastic geared scroll wheel of previous model scimitars that's known to break easy?

The original Scimitar was great. It's still working after 6 years of heavy use. It is extremely high quality and worth what I paid for it. Unfortunately, iCUE does not recognise it anymore and I was forced to "upgrade". So far I am on Scimitar "Elite" number 3. Two were defective out of the box thank to the cheap scroll wheel. The third one feels "worn in". I am very disappointed with Corsair.

whats the diffrence between elite and pro?

aside from the color scheme , Elite allegedly has a slightly better sensor. I have the Pro, its more than good enough for me.

How long is the wire?

Quite a long, as I remember the length is about 1.5 m

Will this work with Elder Scrolls Online?
