Finally able to use this. What a workout. It takes some practice to get the settings just right. I went through several blades doing that. Once I had everything set correctly for the blade I wanted to use it worked great. I grooved 8 trailer tires in about 3 hours. On average the blades lasted about 3 tires.

Easy to use and works very well, however.I cannot get any replacement blade for this particular machine. I bought 4 different types of blade here and none fits. The seller does not offer replacement blades or gives a source to acquire then.

Absolutely impressed with this regroover. Cuts much faster than I expected.

Works with power invertor from Semi truck.A lot of spare blades, different sizes.Temperature controlled blade helps a lot, so you can go fast or slow.

The media could not be loaded. We used to use one of these in the big truck shop to get the rest of the life out of our regroovable tires.As tires get smooth, you lose the road grip and water gets trapped under the tire at higher speeds causing danger of hydroplaning when you hit a large puddle or heavy downpour. The grooves allow the water to escape and keep the tire in contact with the surface of the road increasing safety.I have several trucks with regroovable tires so this tool will easily pay for itself.There are multiple settings on this machine so with a bit of experimenting I was able to find a setting that worked for me.Pushing the gun forward into the rubber you want to regroove turns the heat on to the knife. I have seen operators cut grooves even where there were none before for added traction.This machine worked great. I consider it a winner.

This machine is simple and straight forward and it works as intended. I like the 20 blades of different sizes to match different tread designs. Additional blades can easily be found on Amazon. This tool is not only a great way to extend the life of your tires, but it has other uses as well. It uses heat to cut and doesn’t require a lot of effort to use. Overall, this is useful and works well.

This machine is exactly as shown and described, it can be used to extend a tires life slightly, to deepen soles of shoes, to carve rubber for artists, to carve ice or other things. I used it to test on a rubber sole of a sandal and it is quick and easy to use, not too much pressure needed at all. There is an aroma that comes with it so use it outside. I am taking it to our family auto rapair shop so it will be used as it is made to be used. It is a heavy duty industrial machine.
