Really fiddly, flimsy hard to install, must use spadger to push in, black scratches easily.
Really fiddly, flimsy hard to install, must use spadger tool to push in, scratches through painted black easily. I fixed the scratch by taping a small piece of bond paper over this dorky cable, very weak. Must be a huge profit maker for this supplier. Wire is not plastic coated, seems like spray painted. trackpad was jumpy till i figured out it was thee hairline scratch was shorting out it communication (after taking off the back several times to adjust trakpad screws). The old wire looked like it had blueish-gray corrosion on it (couple of pins) so you might get away with cleaning the old wire and re-installing before you purchase this... Macbook Air.
