1 - Quick Context: I’m a shift worker who often likes to watch loud action films after the wife and kids have gone to bed. I’ve used a great set of RF Sony headphones for years (pic 1), however, they only work using the red and white audio out cables which which were no longer compatible when I upgraded my TV. So the only option I could find were Bluetooth headphones (pic 2) I used these Avantree ones. The problems were multiple 1) the sound only really works line of sight 2) connecting/disconnecting is tedious 3) when I turned off the tv they auto connected to my phone and I accidentally rang my dad at 1am in the morning. I finally found these (pic 3) and am thankfully back on RF after 3 years so much better. 2 - The System These headphones connect to your ‘digital audio out’ any tv under 10 years will have it. If you want to connect another external speaker like a sound bar or surround sound system then hook that up to either the ‘eArc HDMI port’ or use the ‘pass through’ on the headset. I have a blue ray surround sound system in the eArc so did not use the pass through and can’t vouch for it. The RF signal is then sent to the headphones directly there’s no need to connect like Bluetooth and no need for ‘line of sight’ which is great because you can walk to the kitchen to get a cup of tea and keeping listening the the programme. To test the phones I put an amazon music playlist through the tv and went and did the housework listening to music; it worked without fault up in the upstairs bedrooms. The sound is loud, clear and not glitchy at all although the sound ‘quality’ is probably not good enough for a audiophile it’s perfectly good for a normal person watching Netflix or football. The volume control is right on the headset and totally independent of the tv sound so I can turn the tv down the headphones up and everyone’s happy. The charger is modern, simple and easy to hook up, I have it on my windowsill the headphones just sit on it and charge. If you pay a few quid for an extra long digital audio out cable (mines 10m) then you can have the headset right by the sofa. My only gripe is the little flaps that hold the Audio cable in are delicate and look like they could break easily so be gentle putting the cables in and out. Often RF headphones are marketed to older people hard of hearing. However, to me this is crazy they are so much clearer quicker and more simple/stable than Bluetooth they should be the standard in every teenagers bedroom. 3 - Service Company N o problems/Arrived on time. I wanted these headphones when they were unavailable contacted the company and they were responsive and helpful.

These are fantastic! Currently suffering with hearing issues, I cannot hear my Tv even on the loudest volume with a soundbox. I needed lightweight headphones which fitted over my ears - not pressed against them - even lightweight foam pressed on my ears caused discomfort. I required enhanced audio & these have various options. A separate volume control, a dial to change the balance to individual ears & various sound options. There is a neatly hidden rechargeable battery in the actual headphones in order to do this. The charging stand has a 2nd battery on charge, again neatly hidden away, so you can swap over when needed. Although the charge lasts a long time. Comes with various cables to connect to your devices. A higher price than I wanted to pay, but definitely worth it. Good quality, sturdy item, Designed to flexibly fit. I have a small head & most headphones are too big. These fit snugly, are easy to set up & use. Very happy! I can now hear my Tv as the amplified sound is against my ears. I actually had to turn the volume down! I can walk around my house with them & still hear the Tv. This would be really useful if using with Music. Another great thing is - I can wear these, whilst someone else watching the same Tv programme can have the Tv/soundbox volume on as normal. If you have hearing problems I would most definitely recommend these. They are perfect!

Took awhile to set up, to find the right connection, as several to choose from. Once set up they are very good, sound is brilliant and easy to charge with the charging dock. Comfortable to wear

I need headphones to hear speech on TV clearly. I previously used wired Simolio headphones, but I recently bought a new TV without a jackplug so bought these. Set up was not easy for me however, possibly because I was unfamiliar with both headphones and TV. 1 day after receipt of the headphones I received a follow up message from Simolio (unsolicited), which went through some set up tips - and said that the TV should be set to 'PCM' BEFORE the optical digital audio cable is fitted. (This is not emphasised in the manual.) I went through set up again from the beginning, making sure I did this, and now have sound. I am very happy with the result - these headphones make all the difference to my TV watching. I am also happy with Simolio's customer care. (I am also pleased to get a full printed manual with a product that I buy, even though on this occasion it missed the 'PCM' first thing.)

Bought these after reading about so many options. Watching TV while the family sleep has been difficult. Sky TV cannot balance the volume output of their channels and the sound quality is poor on most movies with incidental music blocking the voices making movies hard to follow. My hearing is not too bad but I needed something to give me a boost. I have used products from Sony, JBL, Samsung, Bose and even B&O. These are the first to definitely improve the dialogue in all TV and Movies. Easy to use, great amplification, long enough battery life and in my opinion, perfect for TV use. Having said that, they are not particularly robust so they are not tough enough for studio use etc. but I am sure that some care will result in years of perfect home use. The spare battery, charged in the transmitter base, is truly useful. For the price, doubt if you will find better.

Bought for Christmas and useless. No connection between transmitter and headphones using AUX connection. Tried on stereo system, TV and computer so not my equipment. Sent back for refund.

I have only just got it. It comes with every connector currently in use, it is of course made in china. I have a LG oled television and when you change a setting like picture mode, it changes a whole lot of other things. Its a bit confusing. It is easy to set up and I have better sound coming from the headphones than I was getting from my lg sound bar. I have put that to one side. I am very satisfied with the purchase and it doesn't seem fragile to me as other reviewers have pinioned. I expect a long working life.

Well made and comfortable, but while the sound is crystal clear, the tone is very bass heavy. Mids and high frequency are really muted. This is probably ok for tv or gaming, but for music, you miss out on the brightness of tone. I purchased these to use for guitar practice, I needed rf headphones rather than Bluetooth because of the latency Bluetooth. These phones have no latency, but they suck tone completely. I have them plugged into a 4 channel headphone amp, which is connected to my 100w vox valve amp. Another channel of the headphone amp is connected to my video camera. Because these headphones are so bass heavy, you don't hear what the video camera hears. There are 3 tone settings on the headphones, but none of these gives true sound. I have a set of Thompson rf headphones which sound much better, and were a lot less expensive. I only replaced them due to they didn't fit my head very well and keep falling off. I've gone back to the Thompson headphones, and will endeavour to find a way to make them fit better. The another less annoying fault is the odd dropouts I of signal, only momentary, and infrequent, but irritating. I don't get this with the Thompson ones. Disappointed with my purchase.

Ich habe den Kopfhörer einige Tage in Betrieb. Ist Plastik-Fantastik. So gesehen wirkt er jetzt nicht unbeding sehr wertig. Dafür ist er sehr leicht und der Tragekomfort ist soweit angenehm. Der Druck an den Ohren ist gering und auch über Stunden nicht unangenehm. Trotzdem sitzt er sicher und rutscht auch bei plötzlichen Kopfbewegungen nicht. Bei diesen sommerlichen Temperaturen schwitzt man ein bisschen, aber das lässt sich bei der Bauweise wohl kaum vermeiden. Vorher hatte ich den Sennheiser RS 120-W aber der hatte weniger Reichweite, rutschte vom Kopf, wenn man nach unten guckte und hatte auch hin und wieder Verbindungsabbrüche. Der Vorgänger des Sennheiser war um Längen besser. Der Nachfolger verdient den Namen Sennheiser mMn irgendwie nicht wirklich. Aber zurück zu diesem. Die Reichweite ist wirklich besser. Geht locker über zwei Zimmer mit Zwischenwänden, ca. 20m. Verbindungsabbrechungen habe ich überhaupt keine feststellen können. Während mein vorheriger in der Küche abbrach, wenn die Mikrowelle lief, lässt sich der Simolio davon gar nicht beeindrucken. Daumen hoch! Dreht man Lautstärke auf Null, kann ich kein Eigengeräusch des Kopfhörers ausmachen. Nochmal Daumen hoch. Verbindungen bauen sich vertretbar schnell auf, der Klang ist wirklich gut. Zwischen Bluetooth und Audio in muss man manuell umschalten, aber das ist auch OK für mich. Was ich noch nicht getestet habe, ist die Nutzung als Headset beim Telefonieren. Was das Mikrophon taugt? Laut Manual ist da eins. Mehr kann ich dazu nicht sagen. Mir gefällt die Lautstärkeeinstellung über Rändelrad. Das ist stufenlos und meiner Meinung nach viel besser als + und - Tasten. Balance lässt sich auch stufenlos einstellen, das gefällt. Die Ladestation kommt mit einem zweiten Akku, der in der Basis auch immer geladen vorgehalten wird. Tolles Feature. Soweit finde ich den Kopfhörer sehr überzeugend. Wenn er sich auch im Langzeittest bewährt, was ich noch nicht einschätzen kann, dann wäre es 6 Sterne.

My main TV does not support Blue Tooth and since I have a hearing issue, I was looking for a wireless setup to work with my TV. I saw the SIMOLIO Wireless Headphones for TV that operate on the 2.4 Ghz frequency and decided to give them a try. Unpacking the box you will find the headphones, a transmitter/charger base, a charging brick with USB cable, a spare battery (nice feature, more about this later) and three interface cable: optical, RCA, and headphone jack. There are also two user manuals included. One quick start sheet that will get you up and running quickly and a more detailed multipage manual that is very complete. Setup is simple. Plug in the base using the included power brick and cable. The base has a charging slot for the spare battery and also charges the battery in the headphones when they are placed on the base. I like the fact that a spare battery is included. Spare batteries are also listed for sale on Amazon. Connection to my TV was very simple. I decided to use the optical audio connection. Remove the caps from the optical cable, plug one end into the TV and the other end into the "from TV" optical connector on the base and you’re ready to go. Note that the base unit has a pass-through feature. If I were going to use the headphones and at the same time, have optical audio directed to a soundbar, the base unit provides that capability for all three connections. This is a great feature. The balance control is on the base unit. The other controls are on the headphones. You have a lot of flexibility here. There are options for volume control, tone selection, stereo/mono inputs and the ability to mute the headphones to allow you to hold a conversation without removing the headphones. The headphones are lightweight and very comfortable to wear. I found that I could even wear them while I still had my hearing aids in place. The sound quality is excellent, and I experienced no lag in the audio. I tried a range test. With the base unit in the house, I went outside and had strong signal response with no drop outs at a range of about 100 feet. I was a bit concerned about signal interference with my in-home WIFI, but had no issues. The instructions recommend you do not place the base unit near your router. Though it is advertised for use with your TV, I used it with my cell phone and Sony PlayStation using the headphone connection and it worked perfectly. So, you want wireless headphones, but can not do Bluetooth? These are a great option. High quality sound, no lag, long connection range, comfortable fit and spare battery included. Highly recommended.

Très belle qualité de fabrication, magnifique sonorité, ( trois ajustement de son possible ). J'aime beaucoup le fait qu'il y ait une pile de rechange toujours chargée et prête à l'usage dans la base. Aussi bons que mes anciens écouteurs ''Sennheiser'' pour une fraction du prix.

We got a new TV and they are perfect for my husband as he wears hearing aids and can hear so clear. Would recommend them to anyone . Now can hear perfect and doesn’t have to strain to hear TV and volume easy to control and great comes with a spare battery. Judith

In his early 20's, my husband had an injury that caused him to lose his hearing in one ear. This has caused him issues with hearing the radio, TV's, etc most of his life. He misses a lot of content. With closed caption available, he uses it all the time. While you are "reading" your movie, again, you miss a lot of content. Then, over time, his age became an issue with hearing in his "good" ear. He has utilized headphones that have helped a lot, however the loud background music makes it hard to hear the dialog. Until recently. He was given a SIMOLIO wireless TV Headphone for Father's Day. It was much better than the one he had, but the highest volume output was still low for him. I reached out to the support team with SIMOLIO and explained our situation. I was wondering if there was a better option for his situation. They were amazing. They wanted to know more about our situation so they may recommend the best option for his individual needs. They recommended the SIMOLIO Wireless TV Headphones for Seniors hard of hearing or for individuals with hearing issues. They were amazing. The volume output was so much better and you can individualize the volume needs in each side of the headphones. For the first time in his life, he can hear the TV without the need of the closed caption. The support team was amazing and at no time did they make me feel like my questions were dumb. We had a lot of communication and they were extremely responsive. I would highly recommend this headphone for anyone that has hearing issues and cannot understand many of the movie/tv shows they watch. I will continue to support SIMOLIO with any wireless hearing solutions we may run into in the future. They were amazing
