AN ABSOLUTE MUST FOR EVERY FAMILY HOME
I bought this on a whim for my two young daughters to "help make dinner". It is an extremely easy set up. Filtered water goes into the bottom most tray just below the MAX line, then hot dogs or polish sausages in the next tray, followed by your choice of bun in the final tray. You simply plug in and set the turn knob to "High". Fifteen minutes later you have a meal any stadium would be proud to serve. It's simple and easy to clean up. So far we have tried various hot dog brands as well as the larger Polish sausages. I'd have to say the Polish sausages with a sweet (Hawaiian bread or simply Sweet) hot dog bun our the favorite. You don't even need mustard or any other condiment to accompany these dogs. They are perfect from tray to bun to mouth as is. I am VERY impressed at the simplicity and taste. This is a wonderful family appliance and makes dinners cheap and readily available. I'd go so far as to say a MUST for every family home.

A breeze to use and to clean.
Okay, it's cute with the pepper shaped handles and all, but it works great. It is easy to clean and I think the upper space is great. The space is big enough to hold a good sized dish making it easy to heat the tamales and some chili or other sauce all at one time. It has earned my approval even the pepper shaped handles.

Hotdog warmer 😋 😎
I didn’t buy the Oscar Mayer Hot Dog Roller & Bun Warmer because I needed it. I bought it because it made me laugh — and because the idea of having a tiny ballpark on my kitchen counter felt oddly necessary. First impression? It’s smaller than you expect. It looks like something that belongs in a college dorm room or at a casual game night. The retro Oscar Mayer branding gives it that nostalgic, slightly kitschy vibe. It’s not pretending to be a serious appliance — and that’s kind of the charm. Using it is as simple as it gets. Plug it in, lay the hot dogs on the rollers, stick the buns on the warming rack, set the timer, and wait. The rollers rotate the hot dogs so they cook evenly, and surprisingly, they actually do. The hot dogs come out juicy with a nice light browning — not grilled, obviously, but better than microwaved. Now for the honest part: the “holds 8 hot dogs” claim feels optimistic. You can fit eight skinny dogs on there, but realistically, four at a time is more comfortable if you want them to cook evenly. If you’re feeding a crowd, you’ll be doing batches. The bun warmer is fine, but you have to keep an eye on it. Leave the buns too long and they can get a little too toasty on the edges. It’s not a dealbreaker — just something you learn after the first run. Cleanup isn’t bad. There’s a drip tray that catches grease, and since it’s hot dogs (not burgers), it’s not especially messy. Still, it’s not something you’ll want to scrub every single day. So is it necessary? No. A stovetop pan does the job faster. But that’s not really the point. This thing is about the experience. It’s fun at parties. It’s fun for kids. It’s fun for those random nights when you want something easy and a little nostalgic. If you’re expecting a serious grilling machine, you’ll be disappointed. If you’re expecting a quirky, easy, smile-inducing hot dog maker that actually makes hot dogs . You will like it . My kids like it for movie nights .

Cooking Toys
I can prepare a snack at any time without disturbing or breaking any rules of the kitchen. My latest addition to my man-cave along with such necessities as a coffee maker, heated water pitcher for soup and ramen, pop-corn popper, and omelet iron, is the Oscar Mayer Hot Dog Steamer, and even though it looks like a toy I would give my great grand kids, it really works perfectly for me! Easy to assemble it is sealed to prevent any water from dripping out while under operation. I only used enough water to fill the heating chamber halfway up, and placed four hotdogs into the drawer. In ten minutes, the dogs were hot so I pulled one and left the others to continue steaming. The entire unit was hot and steamy on the inside, but the outside was only warm to the touch and completely dry. After 15 minutes the remaining hot dogs were dark brown and had the familiar look and aroma of fully cooked hotdogs, and they were delicious. I prefer having a hot dog wrap, so there is enough room in the bun warmer to fold over a burrito size flour tortilla and warm it up just before loading it up with all your favorite condiments. Clean up is almost nil with just a rinsing being necessary, and it stores away easily on a shelf. I had such good success with hotdogs, I may try steaming some corn on the cob, or maybe even some bratwurst next. Bon Appetit!

Very easy to carry and use. This hot dog machine heats the buns and steams the hot dogs perfectly. We used it for my daughter’s birthday party and for another activity, and it worked great. The color is beautiful too. Highly recommend!
