I've only used on 2 pieces of hair but very impressed. There is no temperature control, which confused me at first for such an expensive hair straightening tool, but I realised there is no need for one. It straightens perfectly and the hair is not hot to the touch at all after passing. For this reason, I know I can use somewhat regularly without fear of damage. Seems it will live up to the hype!

These straighteners are very good my wife swears by them , easy to operate does exactly what they should do great appearance. My uses them everyday her hair 25 inches long and they have no problem straightening it, light to use and look great in white

So so worth the money I have toyed with buying ghd for years but was reluctant because of the price but seriously wish I had bought them sooner my hair is less frizzy feels thicker and in the best condition it has been for years I regularly dye style my hair and it was also thinning due to peri menopause but these have given my hair a whole new lease of life buy them you won't regret it

Having had the original GHD's many years ago, when they packed up I very unwisely went for cheaper straightners, big mistake. My hair had started to become brittle and frizzy on the ends after using the cheap ones. I decided to bite the bullet again and bought these. What a huge difference in only a couple of uses. My hair looks and feels much better and no frizzy ends. I also bought the GHD Helios hairdryer and I am not disappointed. Using the two together has definitely improved my hairs appearance and it feels so much softer and looks shinier. Yes, they are very expensive, but in my opinion, worth every penny.

Bought for teen I find temperature control excellent and are not to heavy and has great lead length and are very sturdy my daughter has fine hair which these are perfect for not so perfect for my thick frizzy wavy hair

Great product ; really smooth plates , make my hair really soft and shiny , not too bulky so great for travel .. look really sleek. Heat up quickly.

BEWARE Counterfeit GHD!! I give one star but would give less if that was possible. Received order on the next day. * The product pictures show a GHD Platinum Plus (latest version), I received a GHD Platinum. * First seconds with the items in my hands and I could already feel the cheap material Used! The engraved GHD logo was poorly done. I compared my friend’s straigthener with the one I received and no doubt, the difference was obvious * Even if I was sure it was a fake product, i decided to give it a try and register the product on GHD website. The “Date Code” which is use to authenticate all GHD products was not recognized on the official website I am asking for a refund and hope Amazon will do something about it! It is a shame that it is a Fulfilled by Amazon product, this means Amazon do not even check the authenticity of expensive goods like this one I will buy directly from GHD in Europe, more expensive, but at least I will get what I pay for
