Can you fill it less so it only smokes for a couple hours?

Can you use same pellets that are used for your pellet grill?

Yes, and they week very good. recommend this product. I've used in both my pellet smoke and gas grill.

How much heat would this create inside. 6'x2'x2' area? Looking to use as a smoke prop, not for smoking/cooking purposes

Not sure what you mean by smoke prop, but if you have temperature sensors in your grill keep the tube away from it. The smoke tube smolders ,doesn’t flare up unless u keep the lid open for to long, been using them on 2 grills for a long time.Luv it if you want more smoke. Hope this was helpful

Do the two tubes come packaged together?

The tubes came in separate boxes, but one had a basting brush in with it, and the other had a brush to clean the tube. There were no instructions or markings at all on either box. They work quite well, though!
