This is a great product. We've used it a couple times, and its big enough to have 2 different packs of hot pot broth, 1 in each side. Each side holds around 7 cups of water and the hot pot soup packs usually require 6. When its just us 2 people eating, we divide the hot pot soup base pack in two and use 3 cups of water on each side. Then we can add more water and different ingredients to have our own choice of acupuncture, for example I love adding a ton of raw garlic to mine and he likes his more spicy. So we can customize our own sides easily. Its easy to clean, nothing sticks to the pot itself, and easy to adjust the temps for it. It heats up quickly and stays boiling.

It comes with a plug where you can unplug the electric connection, but when washing the pot, it can feel a little worrying that water might get inside that area. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does make cleaning slightly less convenient than I expected. Overall, it’s a great hot pot set with excellent functionality, and I’m really happy with it — just be a bit cautious when washing!

One spicy and the other clear. No issues at all and good product for the price. Tip: If you’re cooking indoors, I recommend opening a few windows and get air circulating otherwise your home will start smelling like all the spices used. If you have a lingering smell after usage from all the food you’ve been eating. You can boil some oranges with ground Cinnamon/cinnamon sticks and set to a simmer after to act as a humidifier with natural smells. If the smell is still there, you can also heat up some coffee grounds on the stove until it starts to smoke and once it starts smoking and burning a little, walk around the affected areas with the pot to spread the smoke. Be careful about putting it around smoke detectors. You can have your home smelling like either cinnamon/oranges or smoked coffee. These are just some natural ways to do it if candles, and other air purify products aren’t working.

This cooker is geared towards Hot pot users. While likely good for the first time, this isn't a product that is going to last. The product is quite cheaply made. It is an aluminum pot that is not cast squarely so it is uneven. Multiple defects cited in the coating. And the one I got, If you weren't careful, you could potentially cut your finger if you ran it around the edge. The handles are a cheap plastic and have play in them, and mind you the burner is built in. So you won't be able to fully submerge this. Making cleanup of this quite difficult. Most hot pot mixes have oils, which mean you will want to be able to wash this appropriately inside and out. Even though the company says that the coating is bpoe free, it doesn't specify if it is pfoa free or what kind of coating it uses. In my use, I found it was quite common that only one side came to a boil much faster than the other side, so heating is not even. It is fairly easy however, to keep things at a simmer. This product might work for a one-time or slightly occasional use, but if you plan on doing Hot pot right, I think there are some better options.

My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE this hot pot. We use it at least once a week! It heats up fast, doesn't leak, holds a decent amount of food (and the food doesn't take long to cook, depending on what you put into it), and it's versatile!

We wanted to try Hot pot at home and this seemed like a great starter pot. I love the two sections as we had regular and spicy broth to choose from. Temperature control was good and worked well for our first time. The lid really helps to bring up to temp quickly and I like the big handle on top. I wish the cord was longer but we ended up using an extension cord at the dining table. We used this on Christmas eve with 6 people and enough room for everyone to be able to cook.
