Easy to put together and fold. VERY sturdy. Easily fit behind the toilet seat and the adjustments when in use can be easily accommodated. Grips are strong. Very compatible for narrow width so easily fit around each of my toilets. I had already installed chair height toilets, but the additional support of this unit feels great. Very reasonably priced for the quality and peace of mind it provides.

This toilet safety rail has been an excellent purchase for my mom after her knee surgery. This home health device has been a big help to my husband since he has become mobility challenged. We had been using a commode chair over the toilet, but the seat on the commode is smaller and not as comfortable as the standard seat. This device allows him to use the regular toilet seat and still have supportive arms to help him up when he is ready to stand. It assembles easily. It can be transferred to other bathrooms, since it does not involve any permanent attachment. Our floor is textured, so we cannot use the optional suction cups that are included. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because the tubing of the frame is rather lightweight. The first time my husband used it, he actually fell, because the frame tipped over. After that incident, he has learned to be sure he one hand on EACH side of the frame for balanced support. By doing that, it provides a sturdy, balanced support. While I can't say the frame is "attractive," it isn't ugly, either--it isn't meant to be. It is a very reasonably priced utilitarian device that promotes safety in the bathroom for anyone who has balance or mobility issues.

Perfect solution! After hip replacement surgery, I was using a raised toilet seat that didn't have handles to manage sitting down or standing up. These safety rails are well made, so easy to assemble, very stable, and provides safety I was looking for. It is easy to change dimensions to fit your needs. Is self-standing so does not attach to toilet or walls. Very happy with this purchase.

Appears to be a sturdy and functional item. The various joint areas are additionally affixed with screws and caps to keep legs and handles from moving. Easily assembled. I'm not utilizing the suction cups at this time. If I'd had this on the toilet a week ago, I don't think my husband, who has cognitive decline, would have slid off the toilet when he got up at 3 a.m. to use the facilities. Glad we have it now though. If you're waiting to get one, don't! Better safe now, than sorry later.
