For an indoor set of pedals and cleats the constant sliding around on the pedal is fine inside, it's fine for up down motions, only slid out once while "on a hill". I usually use Shimano ultegra pedals but was tired of switching them between bikes. For installation you cannot use the normal wrench like other pedals, it has to be the 8mm hex which is frustrating to move them between bikes, for a 1 and done they're fine. To install the cleats onto your shoe, the metal plate provided doesn't seem to fit the cleat properly, I used my Shimano plates to shore up the space. I would not recommend taking these outside at all it will completely throw you off balance, if you play with your feet, the cleats do slide around the pedal compared to other high end brands. The cleats just seem to be a bit small for the pedals to snap in properly. I tried look keo cleats and Shimano spd cleats and neither could snap in so you do need to use their cheap plastic one. All in all 2/5, these could be better designed and built, for a cheap spin bike I'll keep them, for anything else. I'd pay the money and go Shimano.
