This little fan works great! My cellphone used to get hot when apps stayed open. I use my phone for work and use at least two apps constantly. By attaching this little fan to the back of my phone while it's in my car's cell phone holder, keeps my phone from overheating. Quick Tip: I switched my cellphone screen from light mode to dark mode, in the daytime. This also helped the fan keep my phone cooler. Sometimes in my car my phone would be near direct sunlight, even through the windshield, fan kept it cooler. It was a good investment. Prior to the fan, my phone would not only get hot, but that heat would get it to lose battery life. If I wasn't paying attention, my phone would suddenly die from low battery in the middle of my work day. This fan stopped all that. The dark mode is an added plus. Now my phone stays on all day. Fan connected to my car's USB port and shuts off automatically when the car is off. Suction cups clips to back of phone to secure it and comes off easily when you need to remove the phone. Another tip: I use rubber bands to hold my fan up on rear view mirror so I can easily attach my phone to it. When not in use, it shuts off when car is off or you can unplug it from the USB port.

I have wireless phone charging and wireless android auto in both of our vehicles. I noticed our new phones get very warm when charging and playing Pandora music and navigating with Google maps. So war in fact, on a recent several hour trip the phone just stopped the nav! It recovered after a while, but I was surprised at how hot the phone was. So, I found these fans - plug into a usb port, stick it to the phone, and the phone stays very cool - this is a great idea! The fans are very quiet - no way they can be heard in a moving car. My only complaint is that one of the fans has a quirky connection - you have to wiggle the wire near the fan to get it to work sometimes. Eventually I'll have to examine it closely and see if I can repair it or maybe just buy another one - they're not very expensive... That's the reason for 4 stars by the way - otherwise I'd give 'em 5...Update - I looked at the intermittent fan - the wires are soldered to the fan terminals; one of the solder joints was defective/loose. A quick hit with a small soldering iron, and this fan has worked fine ever since. Still four stars - it shouldn't have been poorly soldered... Still an easy fix if you have the tool.

Ordered this fan to cool my all-in-one PC. The exhaust vents behind the cpu and screen spew very warm air and I have positioned the fan to cool exhaust and it’s working !

This is a small low speed fan allowing it to cool with a steady flow of air movement in close proximity of a surface.The fan works wonderfully, the suction cups are hit or miss.The suction cups will stick for a little and end up releasing and the fan will fall off or dangle by the cord resulting in it not cooling your extended device.I do male sure the surface is clean and clear of anything that could interrupt the suction. I dab my finger in water and dampen the suction cups. Then press the fan onto my phone.It will remain stuck until I remove it sometimes, so it is annoying.Lost the star because with the fan in plac my Z Fold 4 can not handle broadcasting to TikTok or Twitch for more than 5 to 10 minutes before it overheats.WARNING while a really cool device it wasn't designed with online broadcasting in mind. Also all cases I have see tend to trap heat in due to not passive venting built into the case.With this little fan stuck to the back of phone no case, orto the open face of the unfolded screen I can broadcast for 6 to 8 hours with the device plugged on.The fan uses a USB A or typical rectangular shaped plug end to use most any power bank or supply. So it won't likely plug into a phone.I am going to order a second one of these fans to better keep my phone cool.I would highly recommend this fan to anyone looking for a quiet decent quality cooling fan for you device. It can not cause condensation problems. Is lightweight, small not badly made for the cost.Appearance:The fan looks like a small PC fan with fins that allow lower speeds to move a decent amount of air. Black plastic and wire, with a chrome grill to keep fingers out of the blades.Decent air movement for low speed and size.I placed it next to my ear and felt the cooling of it. Air blowing towards the ear, this constant movement is equivalent to a soft breeze, very soft but still just enough.The noise level even with this next to my ear wasn't annoying. And if you are into ASMR it is a sort of soft whitenoise. It is actually soothing oddly enough.So I am ordering 1 more and may get more of these at a later date.
