AHGXG Dotted Journal, 320 Pages, A4 (8.5''×11'')

I got the A4 size journal with dot grid paper. Great quality paper for writing with a fountain pen. No bleeding through, can write on both sides without issue. The paper has an excellent surface feel and performance. The book lies flat when open, making writing easier. There are two placeholder ribbons and there’s an envelope in the back cover to stash things, for me it’s a small sheet of blotting paper. The journal includes an elastic band to keep it closed. The only additional feature I would want is an elastic or leather pen holder. I would like to see the elastic used for the closure band be a sturdier grade. The elastic used is very lightweight, not really suitable for this purpose. However I wouldn’t downgrade for that.

I use this dotted journal as a book of shadows. I just love how the dots act as guides for me to be able to create decorative frames for my content. Lined journals kind of suck because they are so limiting, in my opinion. Dotted journals give you more freedom to be creative with your journaling while still providing you with some guides to keep things looking organized and neat. The quality of the paper is really good, though I would not recommend using any strong markers, like Sharpies, on them because they will show through. You can also glue things to the pages as well and they stick perfectly. The cover is nice, soft, and almost leather-like. Of course, hardcovers are nice too, but the softcover is just as good. I have no complaints about my journal. I love it. It's mine now. thank you :)

A bit larger than stated - measures 9” x 11.5” instead of 8.5” x 11”. Cover is very nice and exactly as shown in photos. Paper is good 100gsm; 120 gsm would be better suited to a dot grid journal, as they are intended for doodling and sketching and most markers and gel pens will likely bleed through 100 gsm unless you apply a ground (like gesso) to the pages. 320 pages is also somewhat skimpy, as that comes to only 160 sheets. My issue is that the dots are so faint on the pages, I have to squint or hold the page close to my face to see them - which defeats the purpose of having dots in the first place - grrrr. I had this issue with another journal, which I ended up gifting to someone else as I could not use it. Very annoyed as the product photos for this item show very clear and legible dots. I am dithering, because journal is nice, but I will likely return it.

Recently got into journaling and these are perfect for writing, bulletin journaling, and junk journaling. There’s no bleeding through the paper no matter what writing utensils for. It’s has great quality for a reasonable price.

No bleeding on the pages. The quality of the paper is great. Great size. About to order more.

Color is perfect. Paper is smooth. Bullets are the perfect shade.

Die Seiten haben kein 100gsm Papier, die Stifte dücken sich nämlich durch. Ich bin sehr unzufrieden damit!
