Porque tan caro el envió de las mariquitas

Tal vez porque son enviados vivo y frio.

Would they harm monarch eggs?

Yes, they will eat monarch eggs

How far in advance should I order these for a birthday party?

3-4 days would be good. They do keep for a couple of days in the refrigerator, just add sprinkles of water. The company doesn't process orders on some days so they are not left in the shipping warehouse over Sat & Sunday.
