This little guy is adorable and super functional. He really puts in work! Especially considering how much vampires hate garlic! This guy hangs in there, though and yields garlic perfect for any recipe. I have bought several as gifts for cooking enthusiasts in my life and it is always a hit. I've had one for years and he is still in great shape! Hands down the easiest way to take care of that garlic! Worth every penny! :)

He’s cute and minces well and quickly. However, I did take a star off because he does like to hold some water when you wash it and you have to really scrape the garlic out between all the little poky parts because it likes to stick really bad.

I have this little gadget! So cute on my counter. I use it to loosen the skin of the garlic to remove it and then crushed the garlic. It's really nice. It's fun to use. It's not hard to clean. run water , brush it out.

If your recipe calls for garlic and has water, you can kinda shake the thing submerged in water to free the garlic trapped between the teeth. Even so, It's a lot of extra work to get garlic out, especially by hand or with some kind of brush/fork. It's super cute, however, and the quality is good too. It doesn't feel cheap or anything, and I was really pressing on it to crush the garlic. It never felt like it was going to break. Aside from it making the garlic hard to get (its entire purpose, right?) I don't think this is a bad gift or cute counter top character. The name is adorable and the idea was well executed outside of the garlic being more work to get than a simple garlic press. This is probably one of the most apt definitions of "novelty" I can think of, but if you wanted a simple garlic press, you'd probably be looking for one, right? Definitely worth the cost, but I wouldn't buy another since I value function over form. My wife loves it! Take all these into consideration before buying.

I thought this would be one of those kitchen gadgets that's cute, but not super functional. Boy was I wrong! This crushes garlic soooo well! Better than those traditional metal ones that are very difficult to clean. You don't have to worry about what size cloves go in, it grinds with ease, and i just bang the 2 parts together over the pot/pan to get the garlic out - sometimes there is a bit stuck to the inside, but it's easy to get out. Very easy to wash too. Best part, it's so cute! It has a permanent spot on the counter.

You can't put a whole clove in it. You have to break it down. So the point is lost. If I have to cut it in half I may as well chop it myself
