I use this light on my road bike which I use for commuting and training.I chose this light after much research as I found (from current users) that the battery life was quite good compared to a lot of 'Cree' lights for sale on amazon and gives a good 5 hours on medium setting. (Medium setting is ***Super Bright***)I would recommend this light to anybody who regularly uses the bike in dark conditions (early mornings/ winter evenings etc.)I would also like to advise anybody who is reading this that, as a car driver and motorcyclist, most LED (AAA or AA battery powered) bike lights are ***useless*** for keeping you visible on the roads and anybody who needs to use bike lights should really invest in a rechargeable set like this KK-light.You will find that car's will always see you at junctions and you will be much safer. I would also recommend the 'MagicShine' Rear bike light (amazon) which is also rechargeable and is as bright as a car's rear light. This is also essential in my view to proper safety on the roads. I find both battery packs tuck neatly into a medium Topeak Aerowedge seat pack.There are two more things I now use every ride without fail which I would recommend for your own safety. '3m scotchlite' reflectors (amazon) which look like small white 'straws' that clip onto your spokes, these are excellent for letting drivers who are pulling out from side streets that you are riding past. Finally, a luminous (red or yellow) jacket, I bought the DHB red water proof jacket (from wiggle) and is a must have for winter cycling/dark conditions, (don't ride in black clothes!!)If you have these products in your arsenal you can keep yourself safe on the roads which can be very difficult when you're training on the bike and ride everywhere at 25+ miles per hour. It may not look as 'cool' as the all black Rafa Condor/Team Sky kit road cyclists use but, to be honest, I don't give a f%$£ if it keeps me safe on the roads and I hope anybody who is reading this will take this old (29) time trialist's advice :)Safe cycling :)

This light is a small form factor with a big punch. It's extremely bright on high setting and will light a house up if at a fair distance. The low settings is still plenty bright for the road.It does not flash but u should have blinkers on your bike for safety anyways.The only thing I dislike it the factor it uses elastic bands and there kinda tough to pull over and you have to remove the lights when parking up because thief's so it's a little awkward to get angle etc each time. Cable is long and needed to wrap around frame .But the light provided is excellent. Rivals a car easily and beats some too.Delivery was 4 days and U.K. plug

Final edit - 10 days later 27th Aug 2017So this morning I was out at 05:00 on my ride in the forest. The light (which worked for about three days) started blinking red indicating a low charge. Then 10 mins later - boom. No light. This had been on charge since yesterday so I was a bit surprised - not to mention alarmed as I was about 5 miles from home in near darkness ...So now this replacement has the same issues as the original had. It refuses to charge.So buyer beware. A light for a bicycle is not an accessory. It is a vital piece of kit that has to be reliable. Everything about this item looks good - from the packaging to the exterior quality of the product. But if it doesn't work or can't be trusted, there is no point in paying good money.Speaking of packaging - this item is marketed as 3600 lumens whereas the box has stickers on it stating 1800 lumens. A trivial matter indeed but seriously - if you value your life, do not buy this.Edit - 2 days laterSo while the light was faulty, I simply cannot praise the sellers responses and reactions highly enough. I have bought enough stuff to know it can be faulty but I have to say this is the finest customer relations I have encountered. You can buy with confidence from these guys. Thanks Miss Kiko!Original postAfter reading all the reviews of this item, I was excited to receive it. Beautifully packaged and looks well engineered. I'm sure it's bright too - if only I could get it to work! The battery was DOA and will not accept a charge. Neither will the seller replace it. I have to return the order (at my own expense and inconvenience) and then order another one. Very annoying!!!

Mounted the light to my handlebars and the switch to the stem. Taped the cables onto the underside of my frame for tidiness and it was easy to do. Happy with the result. The battery pack sits comfortably in my frame bag and is dead easy to detach for charging.I use the lowest setting (the 2 smaller lights on the outside) for general road use which is perfectly good enough and then up it to the med or max setting for when i go down some pitch black back roads and alleys. Does the job perfectly, very bright indeed.As for the battery, I remove it each night to charge after 2.5hrs use. It is still perfectly bright after this time.. just dont want to risk it running flat if i go for 2 days straight.. but i'm confident it would handle it no problem. The switch twins as a LED battery life indicator so you get an idea of where you are..Product is good quality with decent rubber ring mounts and came with a UK plug etc. Would totally recommend.

So far I am impressed with this product. Quick delivery and as advertised. I have tried the light and can say it's almost as powerful as my car headlights. I am still to use it on a long ride though so can't comment on battery life yet.

Bright light. The downside is the battery life is nowhere near 3hrs as claimed. On full beam you might get 90mins out of it. Also the rubber bands which are used to fix it the handle bars means the light slips backwards as you go over bumps. This means the light dazzled oncoming traffic. Not clever.Probable best for off-road use.

This is an awesome bicycle light. I work permanent nights and always cycle to work ,so when my last cycle light died I decided to go for something better. There weren't any reviews on this light on amazon but decided to take a chance on this. it took nearly 2 weeks to arrive but worth the wait. Very well packaged and the light and plus all the bits you need come in a nice presentation box. Comes with a proper uk charger. Using it regularly now as the nights are drawing in and can't fault it in any way. this light is so powerful I daren't use it on top setting as it would probably blind oncoming traffic. It has three settings centre light only, side light only and all three on which I only use on the really dark cycle paths. it weighs next to nothing but is extremely robust.the handlebar switch also light up while the power pack is plugged in. I would recommend this to anybody who wants a great cycle light .

Really good set of lights. I use these when I go out in the dark for two hour bike rides down a very long and dark cycle path. I find that the 2 side lights give enough light to ride by most of the time, and so use the main light sparingly to save the battery. When all 3 lights are on this lights up the path really well and far enough to be useful. The illuminated button to cycle through the lighting modes is also really handy - saves fumbling around by feel for it in the dark, which is difficult when wearing gloves. Haven't had the battery run out on me yet, but I suspect 4 hours is the maximum run time. Still, that's not bad for a light this bright. I've also been out in heavy rain and fog with these, and no problems so far.
