30QT rganic Perlite Horticultural Soil Amendment for Plants and Enhanced Drainage Enhanced

Purchased this to make my own seed starter. It does a great job of amending the peat moss and helps with moisture control.

The vermiculite was good quality and small enough for flower planting. I’m not sure it was a good value as I was expecting more but I am new to gardening so this might just be the price. I’m vermiculite when bottom and small quantity.

Too small for my tower cups. My fault. I didn't know own about the grades and size. Really couldn't tell by photos. Otherwise very good. I just used it in my other potted plants. It does drain well.

A little course but works OK.

First thing first, as the video says, be mindful when opening. The box shows a graphic of a pair of scissors which I thought meant not to use scissors to open the box. When I opened the box the bag was upside down. I pulled the tape, and all of the perlite came spilling out. Thankfully it fell into the box and not all over the table and floor. After covering the box with the plastic bag and turning it upside down, I saw on the other side where the scissors graphic showed to cut it on that side. Please put words on the box to which side the box should be opened. A person could use a knife instead of scissors causing a spill. The perlite was dusty but I am happy with the size. I will be ordering more if this one works well.

Product was great but it wasn't in a commercial bag it was in a bathroom trash bag opened and semi taped not happy with that part. Definitely turned me off!

Works well and easy order and delivery. I use it with my Carnivorous plant collection soil and it's always worked very well..

One of the secrets of beautiful healthy plants is nurturing them with the correct soil prior to planting. This involves mixing your current soil (in my case a very heavy clay) with either sand, vermiculite or perlite, and in some cases sand. Go to the internet and research the recommended kind of soil your specific plant needs. Most plants thrive in a "loamy" kind of soil so their roots can spread out and easily receive water and nutrients. I have already ordered this product several times and am exceptionally pleased. Look forward to seeing the outcome in a few months!
