Our kids have been taking ChildLife supplements for several years and always have several different ones at home. These prebiotic powder packers were a bit of a disappointment. First off, the powder was not really powdery. It was pretty solid and lots of lumps inside. Kids tried to take it directly but couldn't get most of the powder out of the packets. Unfortunately, we won't be able to use away from home unless we mix it with water. Also, when mixed with water, you can really only use a small amount of water or else there will be almost no flavor. It is pretty tasteless. Overall, it's just not made very well. Hopefully, they will change the formula to add some taste and do something to prevent the powder from lumping up. Also, there was a sticker right across the instructions which I had to remove.

It's in powder form, so it can be mixed with orange juice or lemonade. It dissolves and mix easily with liquid. Smells like oranges.Good quality and clinically tested. Tropical orange flavor is very weak. I could barely taste the flavor. Affordable, easy to use and works well.

I see many critical reviews with most focusing on packaging problems. I actually like this product. It is possible that I received a package from a new batch, but I do not see the issues mentioned by other reviewers. First of all, this thing is edible as a powder, no need to dissolve it, It has pleasant citrus taste. If you want to dissolve it, use warm water, it will dissolve faster. It is nicely packaged in individual pouches. No clumping or hardening in my package. I call it a good product.

My niece, the queen of selective eating and sensitive tummies, had us desperate for digestive solutions. ChildLife Probiotics were a shot in the dark. It didn't work any miracles, but at least it didn't make things worse. Ours was a nice powder consistency and actually did dissolve in water, unlike what some reviewers reported. The flavor is not good and has an artificial sweetener aftertaste. Not exactly her cup of tea (or our ours for that matter). We had to mix it in juice to get her to drink it. So, the jury's still out on long-term benefits, but it's keeping her gut from exploding for now. I guess if juice-flavored bribery is the price of probiotic peace, so be it. Made in the USA, which is always comforting. I would recommend giving it a try, however, mix it in juice not water.

My nephew has been taking probiotics from Childlife since he was born and it always work great for him. He had trouble with his stomach and digestion so doctor always recommends him to take probiotics. These packets are easy to use and tastes not bad.

Upon opening the package I realized it was weirdly glued together. The glue was tacky and had I not ripped the box I could have easily re-closed it and it looked brand new again. That aside, the packets themselves were one big lump of stuck together powder. Even at high humidity this shouldn’t have happened since they are foil wrapped and sealed. I won’t be trying this or giving it to my kids. Not sure I trust what I was sent.

This probiotic powder is dry and clumped - if you add it to liquid it will break down and dissolve with the use of small whisk or other utensil, especially if you let it sit a few minutes. But if you want to add it to something else, like yogurt or applesauce, it will take a bit more work to integrate it. It does have good flavor and my kid likes it - I mix it with a fiber blend that tastes bad but this actually works to make that more palatable so I appreciate that about it. We haven't been using this long enough to know if its effective, but I can say that it doesn't cause any negative effects. Bottom line though, the consistency of this makes it challenging to use and isn't really worth the price because of that.
