AcuRite (00333) Portable Digital Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer with Carabiner

This is a great little item. I bought it to see what changes there were in temperature on my morning walks and it showed me those changes pretty quickly. It's easy to read in low light, just hooked it to my belt loop with a carbiner and got going. Also used it to see how hot it gets in a parked car (very!) and though it hit over 140° F, no harm was done to the thermometer. For the money it's a useful, fun tool.

I purchased this thermometer specifically to monitor temperatures inside my vehicle while traveling with my dogs, and it has been a great addition to my gear. The readings have been accurate and easy to read, which gives me peace of mind when checking conditions for my pets. I appreciate being able to quickly see the temperature rather than relying on estimates or guessing. The attached carabiner is one of my favorite features. It makes it easy to clip onto a backpack, camping equipment, vehicle organizers, or anywhere else I want to keep it handy. It’s lightweight, portable, simple to use, and has proven to be very reliable. For anyone who enjoys camping, road trips, outdoor activities, or traveling with pets, I think this is a useful little tool to have on hand

Very Disappointed. It took over 20 minutes to go from an outside temp of 84° to record the indoor temp of 76°. There’s no reset button to zero out min and max temps. Temp range on package: 32°F to 122°F! Way overpriced for a very poor thermometer. I’ll likely discard and look for a more versatile indoor/outdoor thermometer. Good luck!

Nothing fancy. No buttons to reset the high and low temps, ya reset it by pulling the battery or it will reset on it's own every 24 hours. The carabiner is very cheap but works for holding the thermometer. It's very slow to adjust to the ambient temp. Had it outside where it was 42 degrees and brought it inside where it was 75 degrees and it took about 5 minutes for it to read correctly. Description says the company is based in Lake Geneva, WI, USA, since 1943 but thermometer is stamped Made in China on the back.

As advertised. Works great, simple, does the job. Haven’t used in cold weather as of yet but don’t think it will be an issue

The battery department comes unclosed. Had to tape closed,Not an instant read. Does give temperature. Great other than that. I've always thought of acurite for having good products.

A little larger than necessary but provides accurate min-max temperature readings. When backpacking I love to know the temperature so that I can judge the effectiveness of my tent and sleeping bag system, so this stays hooked to my backpack.

Works perfect! I was struggling to know the true temp of the house and back of the car when our girls were infants. I clipped this to something near them if I wasn’t sure and it gave me such peace of mind. Simple and effective!

This thermometer only seems to measure in Degrees F & not Degrees C

Cannot display Celsius

Rubbish. Only works in Fahrenheit. Cannot be made to work in Centigrade! Mine went straight in the recycling...lesson learnt.

Doesn’t show Celsius only Fahrenheit.

Display only in Fahrenheit so not great. Bought for camping.
