The Art and Soul of Dune: Part Two

I'd recommend this for many reasons, the main one being the amount of detail included; it contains a plethora of pages explaining the production process, the earlier concepts for certain scenes that perhaps did not make it into the final cut and beautiful illustrations of key characters and event. It captures the incredible brainstorming that took place to create the wonderful world of Dune, paired with epic photos of the huge sets and the actors themselves. A must have for any fan!

This lovely book comes in its own outer slip case, and contains lots of information regarding the making of the second ‘Dune’ movie. What more can I say than if you are a fan buy yourself a copy.

Great book and arrived in perfect conditon

This is a nice book, but compared to the art book for the first film it feels somewhat inferior in quality, which is reflected in my rating. Also there are some pages where the contrast between the background image and the content on top is awful and barely legible and that's just unacceptable, even in a book mostly meant for enjoying the art rather than the content. I expect better from Titan Books.

Just received this today and I'm already thinking of sending it back. The packaging that it was in was extremely flimsy and you can see the result on each and every single corner of the casing and it's as if someone played football with the parcel.On the good side, the printing quality is truly impressive, and the content organisation is superb. I bought the first one when the first film came out, and this new one seems to be even richer in content. That said, I'm so disappointed with the state that it arrived to me that I'll never buy again an item like this from Amazon.

This book is the second in the Art and Soul of Dune.After buying the first book, this one is disappointing.The slip case is not complimentary to the first.The books cover is a photograph from the film. (The cover of the first book is Production artwork.)The pictures and text inside are similar to the first book.In summary: a pretty good product but I had hoped for something special.

I'm a massive fan of both films and Part 2 is a masterpiece in my opinion. All the Art and Soul books are sadly rather lacking, unfortunately.Mainly behind the scenes photos with a small amount of supporting copy to describe the scene, that's about it. There's so little depth to these Art and Soul books and this one is the same format.There's not enough information to be a making of account and there's very, very little concept art to be an Art of book, I really am not at all sure who this book is aimed at? It took a few hours to read and left me overall pretty disappointed, though the Blade Runner 2049 book had the same result, so maybe I should have known better. For a film this good it really deserved either a full Making of account or a full Art of, this publication provides neither.

I am a DUNE fan. Read the first when I was in university the year it was published. Have read the successive 2 books that followed. Denis Villenueve's adaptation of the 1st book DUNE both part 1 and part 2 are the works of a Master. Enough has been written about the films. I loved both!This book is welcome addition. It is hard to find now as I imagine it is a great seller. Mine ordered through Amazon took 3 weeks and from what I can see came from a bookstore in the UK.I will enjoy perusing the beautiful photographs and the art work.

Great book at nice price for fans of Dune. Came nicely packaged.
