Great grit. Great price.
Good grit. I always order this. Just as good as really expensive ones. I recommend this to everyone I know . I'm a rock enthusiast so I know what works. And this works fine.

It's 2 lbs of first stage grit. Good price and it's good quality because of the brand.

This Step One grit is an exceptional bargain.
For Step One of Rock Tumbling, you may have to process the rocks more than one 7-day cycle. So you will use this grit the fastest, so buying it in large quantities is necessary, and this grit was priced 25% less than at the Rock Stores. The grit is identical and has the same consistency as expected. This Step One grit has been shaping the rough rocks and lasts for the entire cycle, as other grits do for this step. The rocks processed in Step One do not shine, but their shape does smooth out. I recommend this Rock Tumbling Grit.

Not Good
Took me way to long to figure out this is not 1500 Fine/polish. Go with polyplastics polish as it actually shines the rocks unlike this stuff that was matte dull

Good Stuff
I have tried and used other step 3 polishes and this type seems very good as a pre polish. I will be buying more.

Nice shine!
Works very well as the last stage for rock tumbling. After 10 days, the shine was very nice.

Good BUT.....
Seems to do just fine BUT it is NOT pure silicone carbide. There is iron in the mix (use a magnet). Doesn't seem to compromise the effect.

Itโs grit.
Pretty good! Been using this grit. Definitely great to have a large amount of this as a hobbyist.
