Such Great Little Books
I love these little note books. I have jobs for them that make my life sweeter, such as keeping Bible quotes in. Really love them for jobs like these. And the aesthetic is just lovely!

Seems to be faultless
I love Clairefontaine paper quality, but this Japanese Midori is another step up. Light cream with a 5mm grid, it handles ink beautifully. 90-100gsm? Fine, medium, to a wet broad (stay on topic), it handles a variety of nibs and inks without feather, bleed, or see-through. Broad nib on a 5mm grid? Surprised me. Excellent. Such a minimalistic A6 notepad, I wish I'd tried them years ago. Got to be an A5 for the next journal. Excellent value.

Lovely quality overall
This is a nice, we'll produced notepad. I bought a 'used-very good' one to save a couple of ££S and tbh the only thing that it came with was some teeth like marks on the front cover, which may be why it was returned by someone. This notepad is for work so honestly I'm not fussed at all at this and think the money saved was well worth it. It was all packaged up like new and corners all lovely and sharp. My only disappointment is that research lead me to believe the pages were similar to hobonichi thickness. They are not. They are much thicker and imo less satisfying to turn. If you prefer thicker paper this is a winner, but if they prefer that super thin paper don't buy this.

Wonderful
Absolutely love these notebooks, paper is amazing, especially with my fountain pen. Handles my brush markers (water-based) well, no bleed through and minimal ghosting. If I write lightly with pencil it handles multiple erasings. Definitely buying more.

1日のTODOや気になったこと行きたいお店など、思いついたら全てメモをとる癖があるので、このサイズが取り出しやすく持ちやすく、本当にちょうどいいです。 紙質も厚め硬めなので裏写りもなく、ガリガリ書けます。

What's to be said? As advertised. Arrived in perfect condition. Just one more quality notebook I'm afraid to use. Simply beautiful in its pure form, I loathe to mar its pages with my chicken scratch... sigh.

Okay, I'll admit that I thought I was getting the A5 version, but I forgot we are in Europe and here the A5 version costs around 20 euros, not 10 like in the US (which made me complacent when ordering I guess). The description of the item by Amazon is atrocious and I seriously doubt they'll fix the product page after my report (they've never done so before in my experience). You can see the product dimensions though, so it really is my fault in the end. I am happy to say that I've found the perfect use for this little A6 notebook (my first ever A6 notebook), and the quality is very good. The covers are sturdy enough and the paper is very nice to write on. There is ghosting (from both ballpoint and fountain pens), but no bleed-through. What I really like is that thanks to the unique binding, the notebook lies completely flat when open (sometimes you have to run your hand down the middle of the notebook applying a bit of pressure to make it that way). The minimalistic looks is very pleasant to the eye, but it's also here where the few problems start. The cover is made from thick paper, and the notebook comes with a "protective" cover that I would liken to baking paper. Yeah that can't protect the notebook for very long and I expect it to disintegrate after a couple of trips in my backpack. Meaning the cover will surely get dirty unless I buy a protective cover. I guess also producing a black version wouldn't be minimalistic enough. Another con for me is the bookmark, which is rather flimsy for my liking. I hope the notebook can take a little beating, but despite the paper cover and the style of binding, the notebook feels solid in my hands, so let's see. Just because this is not mentioned on the product page, let me tell you that there are 176 pages, each page with 26 rows of grids, 18 grids per row. Each grid is 5x5 mm. All in all, this is a great little notebook. The build and paper quality justify the higher price. Give this beauty a try!

La calidad general del producto es maravillosa, desde la construcción y sensación al tacto hasta la sensación mientras se escribe, aunque uses pluma fuente, no se traspasa, el papel no sangra y tiene una gran resistencia. Mi marca favorita.
