Instructions suggest taking on an empty stomach, which I didn't the first time, but I do now. I am taking them on recommendation of other senior citizens at the gym for joint pain. I will take them for the next several months to see if I get the same results.

How was this cow fed? What are the types of collagen?
On close examination of the sales page, I am dismayed. Nowhere can I find any references, such as "grass fed" or information such as Type 1 and Type 3, or any other types, nor is that info on the bottle. What does this mean? I am unsure. Yet, a memory from years ago comes to me. We were traveling from California to Arizona when a sudden stench permeated the car. "Stench" does not describe it. The windows were already closed against the heat. We all grabbed our noses. My elderly aunt awoke snorting and batting at her face. And the sleeping baby awoke abruptly, crying violently. Why? We were passing a "feed lot" close to the freeway and could clearly see cows and young beeves standing hock deep in water, mud and excrement, heads hung low. NOTHING should smell like that. If the producers of this collagen cannot name how their beeves are fed or what types of collagen is produced, then what am I to think concerning the source? I cannot say one way or the other, but I have knocked off 2 stars. If I am wrong, correct me.
