Is this battery compatible with the GoPro 9?

This battery is fully compatible with the GoPro Hero 9/10/11/12, but it is not suitable for the GoPro 5/6/7/8.

How do I interpret the charging indicator lights?

When you place the battery in the charger, the charging case will display a red light to indicate that it is charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the light will turn green.

Why does it only show about 40% charge after a full charge?

For the safety of the battery, over-temperature protection, after a full charge, please cool down for an hour, and then put into the camera the battery will show 100%.

What should I do if I only reach 40%-50% charge with the charging case?

You can put the battery in the camera and charge it through the camera and it will be full.
