solid files for gel and acrylic prep
This is a decent bulk set of professional files and they work exactly as advertised for acrylic and gel work. The 100/180 grit combination is the perfect versatility. The 100 side is great for getting bulk off old gel or quickly reshaping tips, and the 180 side is smooth enough for refining the edges and prepping the natural nail. They are comfortable to hold and definitely get the job done quickly. They don't quite have the longevity of some more expensive brands, as the grit starts to dull after heavy use, but considering the generous quantity you get in the pack, the overall value is excellent. If you are doing a lot of at-home manicures, this set is a reliable workhorse, even if you have to cycle through them occasionally. Lost one star just because I wish they lasted slightly longer, but I'd still buy them again.

Slightly rough and thick, so they go through the nail better and faster then the thinner ones; which can be a shock at first. Once you get used to them, they’re ok. Great for hard skin more than nails.
