Peak Refuel Peach Cobbler
I recently had the opportunity to sample Peak Refuel Peach Cobbler for the first time, and I must say that it was an exceptional culinary experience. The dessert harmoniously balanced sweetness and creaminess, creating a delightful sensory experience. The peach slices, although unusually large, required some chopping, but their flavor remained remarkably enjoyable. I opted to use 6-ounce of boiling water instead of the recommended 5.3 ounces, and I found that this decision did not alter the overall taste. It is a bit pricey but I wholeheartedly recommend this dessert to anyone who is interested or curious about its flavors.

Excellent quality desert- feeds 4
YUM. As other have said, it doesnโt look beautiful lol, but tastes exactly like a skillet peach cobbler. I use these & MH brand meals in my remote cabin and this desert is outstanding but itโs very sweet so I only had one bite and that hit the spot. If you happen to have some heavy cream or can of whipped cream- even better. It would also be a good topper for plain oatmeal for breakfast. Big portion, great ingredients, filling, let cool after heating.

Flavor is great! Makes a good breakfast
These things are the best. Flavor is delicious. Cooks well every time as long as you get the right amount of water. Very filling. Iโve eaten it as a breakfast and night snack while backcountry hunting, in the deer blind, and on the boat fishing. Very convenient.

needs some crunch
Tried this out on a snow camping trip last month for dessert. The flavor is great, but it reminded me of instant oatmeal honestly. It does not look anything like the photo on the bag. I think a little packet inside of the main pouch of some crunchy granola to add on top after it's rehydrated would really give this some texture and elevate it. I see another reviewer said something similar. It would make a great breakfast in this regard.

Great flavor.
Peach cobbler is my favorite type of dessert. This comes pretty darn close to home made in flavor. At a fraction of the time and effort. I got a free sample a while ago and I had the chance to try it recently. It impressed me and thats why Iโm ordering it Highly recommended.

Lacks peaches
TL;DR Lacking fruit, too much cream and poor mouth feel lead to a fail I came aross this and thought it'd be a nice addition to my go bag to pick me up on those really blue days. It still may be as it was an acceptable pond cake dessert, but not a peach cobbler I've come to expect from Peak. It had little peach flavor and I think I came across something that was supposed to be a peach in a pouch and half. The heavy milk was too much after the first few bites, and wife didn't finish hers due to flavor, "I don't want wet pound cake." This has the usual advantages of a Peak food product, easy to follow instructions. As with all of these meals if you don't get enough water in them, you'll just end up with some slighty crunchy pieces, use a tablespoon more water next time. The Ingredients that where in mine felt and tasted like they were good quality, not chemical tasting like you get with other freeze dried backpacker's food. The downside is that this just tasted like they forgot to include the fruit and put in too much cream. The downsides beside the lack of fruit, is the mouth feel. The pound cake loses its defination and becomes an anomalous gel with granola clusters interspersed throughout. This was in a pouch made with the recommended 2/3 cup boiling water. And also in a pounch made with 2/3 cup minus a tablespoon of boiling water. They both had the same consistency. Overall, I gave this only 3 stars minus 0.5 for mouth feel and minus 1.5 for taste. It was a great idea, not ready for primetime yet or a bad batch. Either way, it was disappointing.
