Tape play great!! .com The British countryside has seen few raves like this one--our favorite Teletubbies are shown dancing through Teletubby Land with a few of their friends and, of course, their multiple rabbits. The "Stepping and Standing Dance" leads things off, followed by the "Walking Dance," "Running Away Dance," "Splashing Dance," and so forth (thankfully, we're spared from "Riverdance"). Of course, all this dancing--and even some clips of real children performing a few jigs--can wear a little thin on the patience of any child or parent. While younger children may want to perform some of the moves themselves (the "Tip Toe Dance" looks semi-appealing), everyone else risks becoming bored. The Teletubbies work best when, just like the typical preschooler, they all act differently, performing unique tasks (check out the effective Here Come the Teletubbies). On this video, they're all line dancing. There is some genuine weirdness for more mature Tubby aficionados: a vacuum cleaner starts dancing and a computer-animated bear does a convincing Grateful Dead-inspired number. But for most everyone else, it can't beat the TV show. --Jason Verlinde

Dance with the Teletubbies
I take care of my great-grandson who is two years old. I had saved one of the Teletubbie videos from my granddaughter. It was a big hit with the little guy. The tubbies give each other big hugs. So his first morning at day care school, as he left, he gave the teacher and all the little girls a big hug. Impressive.

Exercise Video for Mommies
After reading the rave reviews in this section, I purchased this video hoping for that long-awaited relaxing coffee break. But as I slid in the video hoping to see my toddler become absorbed by the fun, I was disappointed to find that she insisted on Mommy joining in with her on the dances! I now cannot put on the video without having to participate all the way to the end.But I realized that maybe it was less coffee breaks and more exercise that I had really needed. Following through with all the dances as best you can is quite a work-out.And yes, she does love it, for all the reasons mentioned by the other reviewers. All the more chances for me to shape up!

It's nice to be able to still get some of the old videos for kids who still want to watch on their VCR.

Lots of fun
Your little ones will love the tap-dancing teddy bear segment! It's good, clean fun without annoying spoiled brats,as in many shows today.
