Artist’s Sketchbook Hardcover – 200GSM Very Thick Paper – Spiral Sketch Book for Drawing and Mixed Media – Sketch Pad, Art Book - 5.8 x 8.5, 40 Sheets / 80 Pages

I wanted a sketchbook with heavier paper and a cover that would hold up better than the usual thin, flimsy ones. This one feels solid and well put together. The hardcover gives the pages good protection, and the spiral binding makes it easy to flip through the book or leave it open on the page I am using.The paper has a nice thickness to it and feels much more substantial than regular notebook paper. The larger size also gives plenty of room to sketch without feeling cramped. I also like that the pages turn easily and the book does not fight to close while I am working.Overall, it is a simple, practical sketchbook that does what it is supposed to do. Good paper, useful size, strong cover, and convenient binding. I am happy with it and would buy it again.

High quality smooth paper that is good for mixed media (I used pencil, pen, acrylic marker, and watercolor.) Paper is thick enough that the pen and markers don’t bleed through. Only criticism is for some reason the pencil doesn’t erase as completely as other sketchbooks I’ve had do.Paper is strong; while water does warp it, I was able to do several passes with my wet brush with no degradation or ‘pilling’ of the paper.The attached photo is what I mean when I say the water warps the paper. This is the back of the page after applying many layers of watercolor to the frontOverall great sketchbook for the price. Will be buying again.

It is really good; it is worth the money; it has a really good number of pages; the pages are really strong; it is true to color; it is easy to travel with; and it can be a great gift.

The paper is good quality and importantly pretty thick. Typically with a sketchbook I can only draw on one side with pen because it will bleed through the other side. With this sketchbook I'm able to draw on both sides without seeing a strong image bleed through which is super nice. 40 pages but 80 if you draw on both sides :D. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love it. The spiral spine makes it very portable and not taking up a lot of room because instead of having to unfold the entire two pages, you see one at a time and it doesn't break down as easy as hard-spined sketchbooks do. Easy to use, just pull it out any time and it is perfect size. My colors, whether it be markers or watercolor, come out perfectly. Worth the money, the paper doesn't bleed, and when you're drawing on it, it has a nice, textured paper that personally helps my abilities to form my shapes. Drawability: 5/5

I like it so far, I love that you can draw on the cover. When I first opened it though, I didn’t realize it only had 40 pages, so I was a bit disappointed. However, the paper quite nice and thick even though I haven’t used it yet. Very sturdy cover and easy to use.

Comfortable size and feels good quality! The paper is thick enough to handle a variety of art supplies and the sketchbook as a whole looks like it will last much longer than sketchbooks with a similar look that I’ve used before.

A tad on the heavy side for a traditional sketchbook but if you want some tooth and weight that can take a lot of reworking than this is a great affordable option. I did a couple quick sketches with colored pencil to show how the ly lay down. Blue piece is with an oil pencil and the other is wax. The "Turn-tel-table" was done with alcohol markers and as you can see it doesn't bleed. It takes some care because of the amount of tooth this paper holds especially if you have really juicy pens because it will suck it up unlike common cards.
