Is this easy to tilt once the monitor is on?

The mount hinges can be stiff out of the box, but can be easily adjusted. There's two 10mm Nyloc nuts accessable under the top cover that adjust the top hinge. There's two 13mm Nyloc nuts to adjust the bottom hinge. The base has to be removed to access these.

Is it possible to bolt/screw the base to the bottom of a case? So it doesnt move if i lift the case up ?

How high can you lift the monitor? The base of my monitor (to frame) is 18.7 cm above desk. I need at least this.

Shona, you would need to measure from the centre of the lower VESA mounting holes at the back of the monitor to the bottom of the monitor. the maximum size that this mount can cope with for that distance is 167mm. I hope that helps

What is the height when folded flat for storage? I need a stand that will fit into a case with the monitor still attached for transport.

It folds very flat. less than 5 cms.
