InSinkErator STC-MTBLK Push SinkTop Switch Button, Matte Black

I bought this for my new kitchen sink and it’s amazing will never be buying it again or from anywhere else. Very aesthetically pleasing and matches everything. It works great and have had not issues with it. Easy to install or so my husband said 😂

Installed this button during a kitchen remodel. It was easy to install and the button works perfectly. Great quality.

2013 update: Some reviewers stated that this is made from "cheap plastic," but it doesn't look cheap, at all, on our sink. It works perfectly and looks exactly like our chocolate brown Blanco sink. It looks exactly as it looked when we installed it last March or April. It's very hard to see it, which is important because our kitchen is actually very close to our home's entrance and dining room, and is open. And it goes perfectly with our Mediterranean bronze Mico faucet. It's nearly invisible in the Blanco sink, though. All of our fixtures (mostly Cifial with 1 Moen handheld showerheads) go with it, as well. We held them all up to each other to see how everything blended together, and it all worked. The switch, after about 10 months of use, works easily with no sticking. While I have gotten a little water in it every so often (wet hands pushing the button) it didn't hurt it. I normally try to dry my hands though before using. No chips or any other sort of wear and tear look, to date. No shorting out or anything else. It works great. OLD: Our kitchen sink is highly visible from the dining room and located in an island. So we couldn't put the normal disposal switch in a wall, and really didn't want to. This thing is great. It matches the sink perfectly and works great. I do wonder if water will hurt it as it was put right in the sink lid and not on the counter beside the sink, but our plumber and electrician both told us it would be fine and that where it is, is the normal spot for it. We're extremely happy with it, though. It's also got a "cool" factor which is always fun!

This cover worked well with our InSinkErator disposal switch. The switch now matches our faucet and other accessories.

Everything was excellent

We love that this nice-looking button replaces a wall switch. It's easy to reach and unobtrusive on the countertop by the faucet. It was fairly easy to install and so far works like a dream. The Mocha Bronze is a nice brownish bronze that matches my Moen faucet (not the almost black bronze with brownish trim that is labeled Oil Rubbed Bronze--so choose carefully depending on your faucet color). I withheld 1 star only because I had to order this separate from the switch kit InSinkErator STS-00 SinkTop Switch , which came with a white, a satin nickel, and a chrome button--all the colors I DIDN'T want. Seems like you should be able to order the kit with whichever button you want.

I love this air switch for my garbage disposal. It was easy to install and works nicely. I did need a oil bronze color which required another purchase, but I’m happy with the results.

Switch looks good and seems to be of identical shape, style, and size of the InSinkErator switch it was to replace. Unfortunately, the collar will not snap into place as it is just slightly too small.

Easy to swap for original chrome button
