Arrived as advertised. Not much to say about metal plates. They were affordable and get the job done. The clips are nice that they throw them in but don’t buy this for them. Get 5 star amazon clips separately, you won’t regret it.

Got these for my smith machine and I think they are great. Good price and quality.

Worth the money

This review is for the black Cast Iron Olympic plates with two grips. There is no rubber coating so these plates will never off-gas. I ordered 245 lbs. Some plates have silver text that looks awful (see pics). The majority of the plates however look great. If I had to guess, I’d say 75% of the plates I received are flawless, 20% have minor cosmetic flaws, and 5% look like the pics I posted. Also, some plates have black paint that chipped off probably due to poor packaging. If the center hole (inside ring) feels a little rough/coarse you may want to use some sandpaper to make sure it’s smooth enough so the plate will not scratch your barbell sleeve. If you have the option to select "ship in an Amazon box" at checkout...do it. That extra box helps to protect the plates. Overall, I love the plates. Buying an oil based black sharpie and oil based silver sharpie is probably a good idea to fix any cosmetic flaws.

These cast iron plates are great quality and exactly what I hoped for. The finish is smooth and consistent with no rough edges or flaking paint. The overall quality feels premium—heavy, solid, and well-made. The durability is excellent too. I’ve already used them for several workouts, and they’ve held up perfectly with no chips or dents. The size is standard for Olympic plates and fits my barbell without any wobble or issues. I checked the accuracy of the weight, and it’s spot on—something that really matters when lifting heavier loads or tracking progress. There’s also no strange smell, which is something I’ve run into with cheaper plates. Overall, these plates are reliable, well-built, and a great addition to any home gym setup.

Haben genau nach Maß auf meine Langhantelstange gepasst. Die Klammern sind auch sehr gut und halten sehr gut. Außerdem kann man sie super allein in der Hand halten und damit trainieren. Sehr gut für die Schultermuskulatur. Ein wirklich sehr gutes Set für so einen günstigen Preis.

Poids pas cher, pas super bien calibré j'ai recu un qui fait 4.5kg et l'autre 4.8kg par exemple et le diamètre légèrement supérieur a 50mm ce qui fait qu'il flotte très très légèrement sur mes barres et haltères olympiques. Sinon imbattable niveau prix, donc malgrès les défaut ca reste très décent et fonctionnelle, tout ce qu'on demande a un poids, bien évidemment pas recommandé a un powerlifter qui veut des poids au gramme près.
