I adore both the theme and the quality of this metal stencil. It’s so durable and sleek, yet it’s thin enough that it has some flex to it too, so it can be used even on a slightly curved surface. I’ve mostly been using it for spraying dyes onto fabric, and it works perfectly using my technique. These designs are detailed and precise, so they’re sure to please anyone interested in making art using the Chakra symbols. They’re definitely recognizable symbols for anyone who has spent time familiarizing themselves with them, and each one carries a neatly engraved label identifying it. The whole stencil has its own title label as well, which is nice when it comes to organizing. Since I have a few of these stencils now, I find that especially helpful. Besides working nicely with the fabric paint I use, this also works well with very sharp colored pencils or any drawing implement that has a fine tip.

The geometric symbols that i have been witnessing appear in many forms all around me within synchronistic patterns are images that seem to be calling to me. Being that my artistic skills are not that great when it comes to perfectly shaped geometric forms; i will naturally need assistance if trying to duplicate them. This is important when it comes to universal shapes such as a sphere or triangle. The tetrahedron fits perfectly inside a sphere, and can be visualized as a collection of triangles leading to a further emphasis on having a replication not messy. The Aleks Melnyk brand has created an easy to use as well as compact metal stencil that has eight symbols which can be associated with various meanings. Symbols such as these have appeared in crop circles, as well as many cultures around the world give or take a few differences in them. My favorites in this collection of eight are the shapes depicting triangles; along with circles or spheres due to that symbolism having a spiritual meaning for me. I like how the size of this stencil is small enough to be able to fit easily in a binder or even inside a large print book. The fact that this is metal makes it wood burning compatible, however i will be using it with alcohol ink and a pressurized applicator. I recommend this stencil for people into geometric symbols as well as art in general.
