Lume works, it just does.
If you have been waiting to try Lume, let this be your sign to try it. As a menopausal woman I was having persistent odor in one armpit that kept coming back, immediately after showering almost, no matter what I used... apparently this is a thing when our hormones are shifting and changing. Having cut my ties with anti-perspirant and detoxed from all that aluminum years ago, I was not willing to go back to a traditional combo like that, but all my trusted natural deodorants, even the one I make on my own, were not helping this particular problem. Lume enters the chat... I was hesitant because of the price, but ordered the scent sampler cream deodorants so I could test out all the scents... and WOW, it totally, 100% took the odor away, and lasts 48-72 hours! I decided on my fave scents and ordered this set of Clean Tangerine (my number one pick)... the stick works just as well as the cream. The magic is in the mandelic acid, which does have a weird scent at first in the cream deoderant, but that 100% goes away once it's on. Here are my favorite scent picks. 1. Clean Tangerine, a delicate citrus but really just as it sounds... very clean smelling... not too strong and not too fruity. 2. A close second is the Lavender and Sage, only if you love lavender, it is very herby and delicious smelling, a bit stronger than the clean tangerine and heavy on the lavender. I love it. 3. Peony Rose, flowery and not too cloying, a bit strong at first but dries down light and floral... very girly. 4. Toasted Coconut, many people love this one the most, but for me, I don't love my armpits smelling like food... it's very warm and foody, almost more hazelnut creamer smelling to my nose. It does eventually smell like coconut after a few hours. 5. Fresh Alpine, I wanted to like this one more, but it reminds me of a typical, sweet, men's cologne... which I do not mind, it just smells more masculine than I want to smell. It lasted a long time too. 6. Cucumber mint... nah, too basic bathroom air freshener smelling for me, and too strong. I did not test the unscented, but that is a great option if you want 0 interference from scents, and the soft powder, because that did not appeal to me at all.

Absolutely amazing product 10 out 10
Lume has easily become one of my everyday essentials, and I genuinely love it. Out of all the scents, coconut is by far my favorite—it’s light, clean, and not overpowering, which makes it perfect for daily use. What really stands out to me is that it actually works exactly as described. I’ve tried other products that claim to keep you fresh all day, but Lume truly delivers. It keeps me feeling clean, confident, and odor-free from morning to night. I use it every single day, and it’s made a noticeable difference in how fresh I feel overall. It’s reliable, effective, and now something I don’t want to go without. If you’re looking for a product that lives up to the hype, this one definitely does.

Costly but Effective
I am not one to write reviews, but thought I should. Lately, I've developed sensitivity in my armpits due to my own sweat after I shave my pits when I do shave, I normally I use a epiliator to remove my hair, since I can not wax them on my own (I've tried). Anyway, I've been searching for the last 6 years for new deodorants as I used to only use Old Spice. Yes, I know that its a men's deodorant/antiperspirant but I loved the smell and it worked all day. But then it caused a rash, so I heard about aluminum free. Ive tried so many natural deodorants from Crystal to Tom's. Then named brands like Dove or Secret that have aluminum free ingredients. To no avail, these ended up causing or increasing my rash developments. And because of all these type of aluminum free deodorants my pits development a pigmentation. So not attractive and made feel unclean. So I broke down and tried lume. Not knowing what scent to choose or cream versus the standard stick. With scents,I can not stand Vanilla scents, the unscented had mix reviews so I chose the Peony Rose. The stick smelled pleasant, not strong so nice but the stick will only last you 6 weeks. I bought this on 11/1 and used it on day one. However, on day one I smelled the cream and by golly that was the worse smelling thing ever. I'm going to use it since I am out of the stick and see if it just as good as the stick version, I'll just have to not put it against my nose. I have changed my subscribe and save to a different scent- the toasted coconut, so I'll be back to update about if the new scent is better. But overall- lume kept my bo at bay, healed the discoloration of my pits and did not cause a rash but healed my rashes (with a little help of a good organic diaper cream). This product is costly, like all other things. But, if it helps and works I'll have to make due. More review coming soon after I get the coconut scented one.

Product Works - But Figure Out Your Fav Scent
This stuff works SO well for body odor. The only reason I tried it was because the inventor is an OB/GYN, and obviously she’s a genius to come up with this. My brothers and I always joke that “we’re a sweaty people” because we cannot do anything without sweating. This product doesn’t prevent sweat (no aluminum), but sweating for a good chunk of the day = odor. And honestly I’ve never found a product that I can’t sweat through. I usually carry a tube of old spice and a bottle of perfume everywhere with me. I tested out the cream deodorant by using it in my buttcrack. I had to get a true feel for the effectiveness. After 30 minutes on the stair master the NEXT DAY, I did a swipe before my shower and my butt still smelled like coconut. Gross test, but it doesn’t lie. However I do not love the toasted coconut scent. To me, it smells kind of like buttered popcorn and coconut? It’s fine for underboob/armpit, but that scent with inner thigh/butt use was just gross. I’m still figuring out my favorite scent, but I’ll never give up on this product. Also - amazing for ingrown hairs. Unlike a lot of other whole body deodorants, Lume has a gentle chemical exfoliant, which helps prevent ingrown hairs and hyperpigmentation. As a truly truly sweaty person, this product feels like a miracle.

I wish I had this my entire adult life
I kept seeing all those crazy commercials and hearing the ads online. I am large chested, a little overweight (some fun little folds) and a big sweater. I had a hard time finding a deodorant that worked for me and have been using the same one for years but it has become very hard to find. This took care of the pits but when I got boob sweat or any other sweaty parts (where my legs connect to my torso for example) I would either have to use baby powder (messy) or take some kind of facial wipe and run it under my bra during the day. I decided to try Lume...it had actually been a joke in our house because my kids used to laugh at the ad and say that it was gross. Where have you been all my lift. Ok, so I feel weird because I am giving TMI but it is important for anyone that is unsure. After my shower, I take the solid stick, run it along my bra line, the inside of my thighs where my legs connect to my body and I have one little area where I have a little belly that sweats when I sit down. I could be in a sauna for an hour, come out and if someone sniffed my cleavage, it would smell like a lovely flower. Here is the deal with the invisible cream. It does not smell like the solid. It actually smells kinda weird. I believe it does because it is like a neutralizer. I actually use that for my tush and I have no fear hot sweaty I was, I'm not going to stink. I am fanatically about showering every day but for those days I stay home and stay in my pj's, I can go 48 hours and still smell pleasant. I recently took the chance and tried to use the solid under my arms. I am continuing to use my usual deodorant but I know one day I will not be able to get it and I think this solid will become my go to. I only have tried the peony scent but would like to try others...but I love this one so much!

The best!!!
Why are you using any other deodorant? I spent my life using Mitchum because it was absolutely the best. It still is a great choice but I am in love with Lume the coconut smells amazing and the lavender is heavenly. It works great and it takes less than a dime size per arm.

I'll only use the stick
I have extremely sensitive skin and was so happy when I found the stick deodorant. It has conditioned the skin in my underarms where I can actually shave again without painful bumps. It doesn't last 72 hours but I've only noticed a few times where I thought it wasn't working. So, I thought I would try it on my bikini area. It changed the color of my skin and I now have dark lines on my upper thighs! So, I tried the cream instead and it smells absolutely foul, like sweat butt. Which defeats the purpose if you ask me. I was able to return it and will only buy the stick in the future as it is a pricy product.

Good product, but some faux scents are overpowering
I like the way Lume works. So far I have only used a soap and deodorant stick. I bought the 2 pack Toasted Coconut soap and deodorant stick: I disliked the scent on the deodorant stick, as it was way to strong and cloyingly sweet like cheap halloween candy. But, the Toasted Coconut soap smelled great, as it was not as strong and pronouced: so I kept the soap and gave the deodorant stick away. Still searching for a scent that could work, I next tried the Vanilla Bliss deodorant stick and cream 2 pack. Well, it's the same problem: I did not even have to remove the seal on the cream and could already smell the strong overly cloyingly sweet faux vanilla scent which smelled way too strong and sweet like candy, so I packed it back up and filed for a return. It's the difference between real essentail oils and not real 'perfume oils' scent... I use essential oils a lot, then I can really smell the difference. The 2 scents: Vanilla Bliss and Toasted Coconut were not a real scent but way too sweet for me personally, although others might like them. So far the only scent which is not overpowering for the deodorant stick, is the Soft Powder scented deodorant stick, which I tried in a tiny travel size found locally. Yes it's a fake scent, but it is not too overpowering, and stays in the backgorund where it belongs; is pleasant and not too sweet. I do not need a trumpet candy scent blaring out from my armpits, and I don't want to smell like halloween candy. Its a really good idea for this product to use the "mandelic acid, a gentle alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that works by changing the skin's pH to make it inhospitable to odor-causing bacteria" and so far for me it works great! And I did not notice much skin irritation - only a small amount after taking a bath while using the soap bar in the bathtub, which caused the inside of my wrists to flare up a bit, but it faded after I dried off. No big deal. The only problem with this - as it's such a great idea that works - is the fake scents, some which can be a bit overpowering. If they used real essential oils like peppermint, eucalyptus, orange, lemon, lavender, patchouli, etc., that is not too expensive and smells a better, or even real coconut oil which is inexpensive, but actually smells good, it would be 100% better. Real scents vs. fake. Hint, Lumi execs.

The stick is good
The cream smells of cheese. And that smell does not dissipate. I'm not sure why anyone would want to smell like cheese. It's supposed to be unscented. Perhaps it's gone off. The stick is unscented and works well but not perfect. Needs reapplying and does not last three days - although I've never tried for three days, it has needed reapplying after a few hours.

Works for long periods of time.
This product is supposed to be Unscented, but it is still a little scented, but I like this product controls odor, much longer than other regular deodorants.

Lume deoderant will definitely buy again
I recently purchased Lume Deodorant( my daughter told me about it), and I have to say—I’m seriously impressed! This deodorant truly delivers on its promise of odor control without the harsh chemicals or overpowering scents. What I love most about Lume is that it’s aluminum-free, baking soda-free, and gentle on my skin. Unlike other natural deodorants I’ve tried, it doesn’t cause irritation, and it actually works all day long. The fresh, subtle scent is pleasant but not overwhelming, which is a huge plus for me. Another thing that makes Lume stand out is that it’s not just for underarms—you can use it anywhere on your body! I was skeptical at first, but it really keeps me feeling fresh, no matter what. Overall, I highly recommend Lume to anyone looking for a long-lasting, skin-friendly, and effective deodorant. It’s definitely worth trying!

Body cream scent is TERRIBLE !!!
This review is based on the body cream itself (the deodorant works great and smells fine) the body cream literally smells sooooo bad ! Like it has mold growing or something. I'm not very picky when it comes to scents BUT this is absolutely TERRIBLE, I should of listened to the other complaints/ reviews that I seen but I was willing to give it a try because sometimes people exaggerate. (I got the tangerine smell one).
