An easy NLP book just for you the beginner
This book delivers everything that it says it is. I have many people ask me to direct them to a book that delivers information about NLP that is easy to understand. The like a cross between a dictionary and a story but builds on information the entire time. I could not think of anything that should have been in this book that was not. If you are looking for a book that will help you understand NLP and you are new to the subject you have found your answer. If you are a veteran to NLP the book will live up to the title it is for beginners. By the way it is an easy read and not overly complicated. If you want to skip ahead and go over some information that you may have misplaced in your mind this book would also serve well.

Good basic for understanding NLP
I found this book to be very informative. It's is not a deep dive into NLP but it presents the basics well. Written as a Q&A which I personally found helpful. The one funny side note has to do with several typos and grammatical errors throughout the book. These were not show stoppers but it was ironic they were in an NLP book (NLP loves syntax). All in all a very good book. Much better than the NLP for Dummies Workbook which was a very tedious read. BnB Beatles Depot

Good book for beginners!
I gave this book a 4 out of 5 rating only because of the minor grammar, misspellings, and improper word usages. These are just minor frustrations at most. If you can get beyond these imperfections, then you'll be treated with an author who knows what he is talking about. The book is a great introduction to NLP. Informative and provides excellent explanation to create the learning necessary to make the integration. The flow of the book is designed well and provided a seamless transition for each section to build upon the pervious. Also, demonstrates how to apply this technology in your life with real world examples.

A book about language and achieving excellence should not have spelling, grammar and punctuation errors on every page!
This book is terrible. If you can manage to plough through the spelling, grammar and punctuation you will be greeted with confusing, snarky anecdotes, missing information and the idea that NLP is somewhat akin to advanced calculus. I am extremely disappointed with this book. Vaknin seems to switch between speaking to NLP practitioners with clients to an audience that has never heard of NLP. He gives more excited remarks about how much you've just learned! or how wonderful NLP is! than actual useful information. I read it by the fire place and had a hard time not throwing it in.

Nice but
It is simple and accessible, easy to understand. But there are lots of typos. Hope a new edition fixes those.
