Pretty good but peppery.
Good flavor. Very well sealed individual strips. A bit peppery for my taste but that could be a bonus if you like a lot of black pepper. Not too tough or too dry. You definitely need something to drink it with. Excellent snack with a drink.

When from buying from Amazon they taste stale
When these are fresh they are great. Unfortunately you can tell these were either stale or not stored properly. They were very dry and hard compared to the ones I buy at the store that are moist and softer textured.

Too hard to eat
This is the first time I've ordered the deer jerky strips. They are too hard to eat. The bars were way better

Unboxed, but complete product count came.
There were 10 Epic snack strips, but there wasn't a box. I don't mind this, but was expecting it to come in the original box.

Buy from a store not amazon
Found this at a store. Bought some from there, enjoyed it a lot. So I went back and bought a bunch more. Then I found these on Amazon. Seemed a bit off.

Don't bother.
It's my fault I didn't see that it's cut with beef and not pure venison like I was looking for. Other than that, it's greasy/oily and lacking in natural meat flavor, like something out of a vending machine. I couldn't stand more than two nibbles. I can't even feed them to my dog because they're so oily he'd end up crapping all over the house. Straight to the garbage they go.
