This set is quite possibly the most fun I've had building a lego set. As you build the set you can see the hogwarts castle coming to life. You build out scenes and easter eggs from each of the 7 books. The castle is very accurate to the movie and is a beautiful decoration afterwards. I got it on sale for about 140 and that price was well worth it. Compared to many sets such as the flowers and the technic sets, this is significantly less difficult but not too easily. I had several very enjoyable hours building this set and watching movies.

I have found at piece building Legos sets. However this is a great gift and the instructions are easy to follow and the size an appearance are awesome and I actually have it displayed full-time.

I never played much with LEGO as a kid and bought this as a bit of an impulse after enjoying putting together a couple of book nook kits because I wanted something that would take a bit longer. I really had a great time putting this together over the course of several days. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the end result looks great. I've already purchased my next LEGO project and have my eye on Rivendell.

This was such a fun build! Durable, no missing pieces, good value, and great attention to detail. Bought for an 18 year old and took her a weekend to assemble it.

Amazing LEGO set. So happy they came out with a smaller, more affordable Hogwarts Castle that is less clumsy to display and clean. The printed tiles are also awesome; the big one has the sicker which is not appealing for a set that big and expensive. This set also builds from the bottom up, with lot of details to notice during assembly - that's great as we didn't get bored midway.

My grandson loved this and it looks so good when it’s all done. I highly recommend it

Gave this as a gift to my sister and she had an absolute blast building it. The instructions were easy to follow, and you can even download the app on your ipad and follow the instructions there (it shows the 3d model in real time so you can rotate it around and everything). Love the colors and the details. I do wish there was a couple more mini figures in there. But all and all beautfil set. And you can later display it on a shelf too!
