Great knives for young chefs! They cut really well but are still safe for young kids. Good for left-handed kids too.

Highly recommend if you have little ones who are eager to help in the kitchen. My kiddo (3, just turned 4) is always watching and asking to help when I’m making breakfast or preparing snacks. We loooove this kit. My son was able to use the peeler and knife to cut his own apples. He was very proud 😁

My daughter got this set as a gift for her second birthday 10 days ago and hasn't stopped slicing and dicing since she received them - red peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, plasticine, etc. She loves being autonomous and using tools, in general, and these knives are perfect for practicing her independence skills. The cutting board is very practical, with the option to fold it for aim into a pot or dish once done chopping, although we haven't used that "feature" yet. The cutting board material does stain fairly easily... that said, I think most of the stains on it are from her slicing plasticine, rather than food ;-) An adult should be with the young child who uses these, as the serrated edge could give the kid a little scrape when learning if not careful, but they really are a great way for a kid to learn and also to help out in the kitchen.

I got these because my 5 year old showed an interest in helping me in the kitchen. They are great for cutting fruits and vegetables. We did try it on a cucumber, and that was a little difficult, but it’s great for softer items and teaching the importance of safety. My son loves feeling like a big boy and it’s teaching him independence.

Pretty colours! Plastic knives cut well and safe for my toddler to use ! Easy to clean and sturdy , durable cutting boards !

Best gift for my grandchild.

I'm shocked by this product! My 9 year old boy actually wants to cook now that he has a good knife and cutting board. He goes around the kitchen asking us for things he can cut up. While the knife isn't super sharp, it works for most things. But, this has taught him about holding a real knife and we feel more comfortable with him using it now that he's practiced with these.

My 7 y.o is always wanting to help in the kitchen but obviously steel knives are a no go. These are the perfect size for them, not too heavy either. They are learning how to hold a knife properly and the do's and don't of handling knifes. Certain things like harder veggies(carrots and that the like) require a little more effort to cut but overall a great way to start in the kitchen for little ones. Plus, if they fall from their hands (which they have) my heart doesn't literally stop because I know they won't get hurt.

Mi Niño de 3 años quería cortar por su cuenta con los cuchillos de la Cocina cuando me venía partir frutas y mejor le pasaba un cuchillo de mantequilla que le dificultaba partir pero me daba paz mental a mi. Le di estos cuchillos de cumpleaños que además de paz mental para mi a él realmente le dejan cortar sus frutas o comidas. Me gustaron tanto que se los mandé de regalo a mi sobrina para que ella también pudiera disfrutarlos 💕

El plástico es bastante resistente. Sin embargo es imposible cortar cualquier cosa. Son demasiado gruesos.
