Nostalgic memories and BLISS!
These Obleas are SOOOOO GOOD!!! They arrived quickly, they are fresh and they are definitely not going to last very long! Every delicious wafer melts in my mouth bringing back memories of my childhood- visiting my grandparents in Mexico, getting pesos from my grandma so my sister and I could go to the little tiendita down the street and load up on all the obleas, Duvalin, de la Rosa Mazapan and Lucas Limon that we could handle! These scrumptious little obleas are a great price and are going to make me FAT with how easy it is to order on Amazon!

Please give s'mores a run for their money around the campfire.
These were caramely-gooey-sweet, crunchy, decadent, goodness! I have no reference to any standard American bakery fare for comparison. Our family tried them for the first time around the campfire on a camping trip. They've become a tradition now, and give S'mores a close tie for first place! Definitely, remember to take some hand wash or wipes as you'll need them!

As a gringo, I was late in life getting to know the delight that is an Oblea. I had them for the first time in Mexico City, and I was not aware that you could get them in the United States. I keep a stockpile of these because they are delicious. This is one of my favorite Mexican candies of all time.
