Orion Motor Tech Tailgate Assist Compatible with Ford Ranger 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023

I bought my ranger new in 2020 and immediately I was annoyed by the tailgate just free falling into oblivion. I can’t explain why it took me 4 years to address this problem, but once I pulled my head out and bought this unit—problem solved in less than 15 minutes. Works like a dream. 10/10

I bought this product to replace the one I installed 4 years ago from a different brand. At first I was pleased with all that was included in the kit and ease of installation but I was quickly disappointed when in less than 2 months the bracket that supports the dampener broke.

Now my question is why can't Ford add this little gem to all their tailgates? I instaled one on my F250 and then one on my wife's Ranger. Very Happy with the performance.

This Tailgate dampener is awesome for the price my tailgate used to drop harshly and when it would the tailgate would slip off the truck and scratch the vehicle. After installing this Tailgate Assist it now gently lowers down and no longer slams the longevity is still waiting to be seen but so far I love the product.

I have a 2022 Ford Ranger XLT and I got tired of the slamming of the tailgate. Very easy to install, works perfect every time; a must purchase for any truck owner!

Perfect fit and easy to install. Makes tail gate safe when carrying items and opening it with one hand!! AFTER a few months a have to give it one star as the bracket where the shock clips in broke so is no longer usable! If I'm unable to get a replacement will need to order from a different brand!

La base no coincide con la media de la tapa , solo se puede instalar 1 de los 2 tornillos, hay que rebajar la base superior, en definitiva no es compatible.

Be careful it does not fit 2023 models AT ALL

It does not fit 2023 ranger or ranger raptor. it is 2019 to 22.
