Solmate Socks was started in the year 2000 by Marianne Wakerlin with the simple idea that “Life’s too short for matching socks.” As a lifelong textile artist, she knew there was a market for beautifully crafted socks made right here in America. When Marianne retired in 2015, her son, Randy, and daughter-in-law, Lisa, dedicated themselves to carrying on the family tradition of creating highly coveted, treasured works of art that can be worn on your own two feet. I bought 2 pairs as present and a currently ordered 2 of the same, so I had an extra pair. I bought them.becauae they were cute, a little different, fun, a.novel idea AND they are made in the USA. Well i.kept the matching duplicate pair for myself and showed at how comfortable they actually to wear. I bought myself another (different pair) so I could mix them and 2.more.paier for another birthday present. P.s. the recipient of the gift adored them )

Too Much Fun
These socks are so much fun to wear. No more wondering where the missing sock is -- just match them to almost any other one in this group of socks. They are all cotton, a must for me, and wick the moisture away from hard working feet. Perfect for my Type 2 diabetic feet. They don't bind at the top so my other socks can be avoided now, leaving this grandma with socks that look good, feel good, and are so much fun to wear when the grandkids are here in their own mismatched socks.

Best Winter Socks
My second pair. Fun socks. Warm too. Great with clogs. I buy a size up because they do shrink in the dryer.
