We received this umbrella base a few days ago and put it out yesterday while sunny. It is heavy and heavy duty! We he finish is beautiful on the vintage black. More like a charcoal gray if they helps anyone on the color. It’s always hard to tell from the product photos and there weren’t any photo reviews of this color yet. Initially I wanted the white but chose the black to match my umbrella pole. It comes with 4 adjustable feet that attach with ease and the pole holder part just screws into the top. The handle that tightens into the pole is super secure and great heavy quality. I expect that this will last years to come! We had a small tsunami last night and the umbrella didn’t budge! It washed a ton of dirt away from our newly installed pool so I’m super impressed with the fact that the base kept the umbrella super secure during the winds! Is it worth the money? I’m not sure, I’ve never purchased an umbrella base before so we shall see! I do want to purchase one of the other colors on sale during the Labor Day sale! Do I guess maybe it is worth the money to me!

Very large and beautiful patio umbrella holder. I also purchased the wheels do I can move it around. I am a happy customer. I will eventually buy a second one.

I chose to invest in this gorgeous clamshell base knowing I would need to replace the umbrella every couple of years but little did I know the base would not hold up longer than the umbrella. I thought given the cost, I was investing in a quality piece that would last us for years to come but It has barely been 3 years and I’m unable to operate the handle to replace the umbrella making it an expensive, useless piece. We took amazing care of this base and I feel like something from Costco would last longer plus they would stand behind their product and replace or refund. I’m hoping Business & Pleasure will do the right thing and stand behind their product as well. So far they have asked me to purchase a new one. If they choose to stand behind their product, I will update my review but until then please know that the cost does not always reflect the quality you are getting.

I purchased this to replace an umbrella that was always falling. Tropical storm Debbie came to town and this umbrella did not budge! I purchased the 55 pound base. It looks beautiful and does what it’s supposed to do which just to keep your umbrella completely intact!

I just received my new umbrella stand and it is gorgeous! The color is perfect. During the installation I found out one of the levelers was too small and would not fit into the correct spot. I reached out to the seller to see if I could get a new leveler but not response. I do not want to have to return this 50+ pound stand. Very annoyed.

Great looking and good quality. Wind will blow over if strong. Not cheap....

I bought 4 of these stands. They aren’t cheap. I absolutely love the style and weight. The detailed knob is a nice touch. Unfortunately the paint starts to fail after the first summer. My climate is warm and dry so I was shocked to see chips of paint and rust.
